There were no new indigenous asymptomatic infected persons, and 1 new case of asymptomatic infected person imported from abroad was added. 5 people were cured and discharged from hospital (imported cases from abroad).

From January 8, 2022 to January 16, 2022, Tianjin has reported a total of 294 confirmed cases of covid-19 in Tianjin and 294 cases in hospital. A total of 22 asymptomatic infected people have been reported, of which 14 are still under medical observation and 8 are confirmed cases.

From January 2020 to January 16, 2022, Tianjin has reported a total of 442 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia, 145 discharged cases, 3 deaths, and 294 hospitals. A total of 502 confirmed cases of imported novel coronavirus pneumonia have been reported, 418 discharged cases and 84 cases are in hospital. A total of 500 cases of asymptomatic infection (473 cases imported from abroad) have been reported, of which 376 cases have been released from medical observation, 55 cases are still under medical observation (including 14 cases in China and 41 cases imported from abroad), and 69 cases are converted into confirmed cases. A total of 27,949 close contacts have been traced, and 8,954 people are still under medical observation.
