She was the daughter of a famous family from the Fengchao family, and was included in the harem by Kangxi at a young age, and she ascended to the throne of the empress within a year of entering the palace and became the last master of kunning palace, however, she was full of honors and died in a good year, and after her death, she was honored by the empress dowager and the empress dowager, and she was the second empress of Kangxi: Empress Xiaozhaoren.

Empress Xiaozhaoren came from the most famous descendant of the Qing Dynasty, the Niuhulu clan, her grandfather was the founding general of the Qing Dynasty, Hongyi Gongeyi, her grandmother was the fourth daughter of the Qing Taizu Nurhaci and Princess Mukushi, the father was the Kangxi Emperor's assistant chancellor Guoyi Gongshu Bilong, the mother was the eldest daughter of the Prince of Ying, and the birth mother was shushujue Luoshi of the Shubilong side room.
In addition, Empress Xiaozhaoren had an aunt who married Emperor Taiji of the Qing Dynasty as Consort Fujin, but this aunt ended up with a nameless and undivided ending for unknown reasons, so the fate of the Fengchao of the Niuhulu family actually began with Empress Xiaozhaoren.
In the fourth year of Kangxi, Xiaozhuang chose an empress for his grandson Kangxi, when the daughter of Qiu Bilong, Niu Hulu, competed with Sony's granddaughter Hesheli (Empress Xiaochengren), and eventually lost to the Hesheli clan, some people believe that this contender for the throne with the Hesheli clan was Empress Xiaozhaoren, but after historical research, it seems that this Niuhulu clan was not Empress Xiaozhaoren, but the sister of Empress Xiaozhaoren.
Empress Xiaozhaoren first appeared in the archives in the fifteenth year of Kangxi, before that, Kangxi originally matched Empress Xiaochengren due to the birth of the crown prince Yin Rong died in childbirth, the middle palace was vacant, Empress Xiaozhaoren entered the palace in this situation, some people believe that Empress Xiaozhaoren entered the palace as a concubine in the fifteenth year of Kangxi, and was originally regarded as a preparatory candidate for Kangxi's successor.
Sure enough, in the second year, Kangxi dafeng harem, Empress Xiaozhaoren was made empress, if Empress Xiaozhaoren was really Kangxi fifteen years into the palace, then her age at that time was about thirteen years old. After Xiao Zhao entered Kunning, he deeply understood the family mission he was shouldering, and immediately made a request to her husband Kangxi: to build a temple for his deceased father.
Xiao Zhao's request was approved by her husband Kangxi, which was the only contribution that Xiao Zhao made to the family during her short empress career, but this move of Xiao Zhao became the beginning of the prosperity of the Niu Hulu clan again, and she not only became the first empress of the Niu Hulu family, but after that, the Niu Hulu clan produced four empresses of xiaosheng, xiaohe, xiaomu, and xiaozhen.
At that time, it was the critical period of pacifying San Francisco, and As the lord of the six palaces, Xiao Zhao, who was the lord of the six palaces, worked hard to improve his cultural accomplishment, slept happily at night, and solved problems for her husband Kangxi, who later praised Xiao Zhao as a "good match".
However, what is unexpected is that on February 26, the seventeenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, only half a year after Xiao Zhao sat on the throne, bad news came out of the palace, and Empress Xiao Zhao died. The cause of the empress's death is not mentioned in the official historical data, and Kangxi seems to have been secretive about it, but Zhang Cheng, a missionary who was in the court at the time, recorded it: Empress Xiaozhaoren and Empress Xiaochengren died of the same cause, both died in childbirth.
After Empress Xiaozhao's death, Kangxi ordered a grand funeral ceremony on a grand scale, the regulations were roughly the same as that of Empress Xiaochengren, but there was one thing that Empress Xiaochengren did not have, that is, at that time, Empress Xiaozhuang had to personally pay tribute to this granddaughter-in-law, but under kangxi's obstruction, she gave up, and then Empress Renxian (Empress Xiaohuizhang) personally paid tribute to her daughter-in-law Xiaozhao, regardless of the empress's respect.
In March of the 20th year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the late Empress Xiaozhaoren, who had been gone for three years, was buried in the Kangxi Jingling Underground Palace along with Empress Xiaoxiao (Empress Xiaochengren). Later, after the emperors of the Qianlong and Jiaqing dynasties, Xiao Zhao's full titles were: Xiao Zhao Jing Shu Ming Hui Zheng and An Yu Duan Mu Qin Tianshun Shengren Empress.
