The name Su Ma Lagu is all too familiar to everyone. In "Kangxi Dynasty", she is the palace daughter of Xuan Ye Qingmei Bamboo Horse, and the two secretly have a love affair, but unfortunately, they are close to the end of the world, and the lovers have not been able to come together after all. In history, there was indeed a Su Ma Lama, but there was no love between her and Kangxi. Because Su Ma Lagu is the same age as Xiaozhuang, she is Xuan Ye's grandmother. However, it is difficult to deny the fact that Su Ma Lagu loved Kangxi. This kind of love is pity, love, and even coddling, and it is definitely not the love that is talked about in the Kangxi Dynasty.

A Mongolian, Suma Lagu was born into a poor herdsman family and later became a dowry maid in Xiaozhuang. Her Mongolian name is transliterated as Su Ma La (苏茉兒), which means "half a pocket". This personal maid who accompanied Xiaozhuang around, successively experienced the Five Dynasties of Mandate of Heaven, Tiancong, Chongde, Shunzhi and Kangxi, almost witnessed many major events in the early Qing Dynasty, and also educated Nian Xuanye, so she was highly valued in the court and was also revered as Su Ma Lagu.

The historical Su Ma Lama was quite kind to Kangxi. During the Qing Dynasty, smallpox had not yet been conquered, often taking people's lives, and the Qing court was particularly cautious about men who had not had acne, and even let those princes who had not had acne move to live in the palace when smallpox was popular. In November of the twelfth year of Shunzhi (1655), smallpox appeared in the Qing Palace, and Xuan Ye also went to a mansion outside the palace to avoid pox.

Royal children, even if they are not in the palace, will have to try to strengthen their education and take good care of them. The person responsible for cultivating and taking care of Xuan Ye was Su Ma Lagu, and this errand was hand-picked by Empress Xiaozhuang. Although Su Ma Lama was born into poverty, she was proficient in Manchu and Mongolian scripts, and during her time with Xiaozhuang, she also experienced many storms and was quite wise, taking on the heavy responsibility of caring for and enlightening Kangxi.

At that time, Su Ma Lama went back and forth between the imperial palace and Xuan Ye's residence every day, taught Xuan Ye on time, and carefully cared for the little prince's diet and living. In the "Xiaoting Miscellaneous Records of Su Ma Lagu", it is mentioned that "(Xuan Ye) relied on qi to train Di and teach the national book by hand". Because of this, the later Kangxi Emperor had great respect for Su Ma Lagu. Affected by this, the status of the entire Su Ma Lama in the Qing Palace is also incomparable to ordinary people.

The fly in the ointment is that Su Ma Lama did not marry in her life, accompanied Xiaozhuang in her early years, and later lived alone in the deep palace. In order to avoid the loneliness of Su Ma Lagu, the Kangxi Emperor also deliberately entrusted one of his own princes to her care. Su Ma Lama, on the other hand, did her best to teach and cultivate this child into a humble gentleman, and did not even participate in the nine sons and wives. This prince was the twelfth son of The Kangxi Emperor, Yin Qi.

Kangxi spent a long time and finally decided to entrust the child to Su Ma Lama to raise. You must know that at this time, Su Ma Lama was over seventy years old, and Kangxi arranged this arrangement, obviously to give this old man a little comfort. In this way, Su Ma Lama's later years were accompanied by Yin Qi, and her life was also very peaceful.

What people did not expect was that Su Ma Lama lived quite a long life, living for more than ninety years before she died. In this way, Yin Qi and Su Ma Lama have been together for many years, and their feelings are very deep. In the later years of Su Ma Lagu, Yin Qi had been serving left and right, taking good care of her, and it could be regarded as a filial piety for Kangxi. After the death of Su Ma Lagu, Kangxi was very sad and held a very solemn funeral for her, buried in the specifications of a "concubine", and the tomb was arranged outside the walls of the Eastern Qing Tombs.

In order to make this drama more exciting, the director arranged for her to leave a heartfelt word on her deathbed: "I have never loved Wu Ciyou, and I have only loved Kangxi alone in my life." "In this way, the well-known Su Ma Lama is a completely different image.
