introduction
As the saying goes, the hearts of the parents of the doctors, people's physical health mostly needs to rely on the advice and treatment of doctors, so doctors are a very important profession at any time and are respected. Some of these doctors have also suffered misfortune because of medical skills and prescriptions, and there was a doctor in China, who was the founder of Yunnan Baiyao, who was arrested for refusing to hand over the secret recipe, and died in prison at the age of 58.

There are many great healers in ancient Chinese history, some of them have developed novel drugs, some have treated difficult and complicated diseases, and some have collected medicines from the mountains and written them into medicine books for reference in later generations. For example, Li Shizhen of the Ming Dynasty, he was not afraid of difficulties and obstacles, went to the deep mountains to collect herbs, tried them himself, and then selected the available medicinal materials to use as medicines, a "Compendium of Materia Medica" provided an extremely valuable reference for the development of Traditional Chinese medicine in later generations, and Li Shizhen himself was also called "Medicine Sage" by later generations. Another example is Sun Simiao of the Tang Dynasty, as the top physician of the Tang Dynasty, he spent his life collecting various folk secret recipes, bringing together the treatment of difficult and complicated diseases at that time, and mastering important clinical medical methods such as acupuncture, which can be said to be the integrator of the medical community of that era.
01
These excellent doctors, they are not only seeking a career, but also doing a great thing to benefit the people, they dedicate their lives to the cause of medicine, saving lives and helping the injured, such great doctors deserve to be praised and praised by people. In fact, in addition to Li Shizhen, Zhang Zhongjing, Bian Que and other ancient famous doctors, there are also many excellent doctors in their contemporary times, and Qu Huanzhang, the founder of Yunnan Baiyao, is one of them.
To say qu huanzhang, his life is also full of ups and downs, he was born in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties in a remote mountain village in Yunnan. Due to the chaos of the times and the fact that the family has been farming for generations, Qu Huanzhang's family is very difficult. And when Qu Huanzhang was only 7 years old, his father died, and only two years later, his mother also died, leaving the young Qu Huanzhang and his sister in the family, and the degree of hardship in life can be imagined.
02
Qu Huanzhang made a living by selling native cloth with his sister, and later in the process of selling native cloth, Qu Huanzhang suddenly fell ill, and fortunately, a doctor reached out to him and treated him, and did not collect money, which made Qu Huanzhang very moved. Ming Li Has a saying in "Introduction to Medicine": "Do not take too much, but listen to what you pay." If the sick family is extremely poor and does not take anything, especially its benevolence and honesty. Qu Huanzhang also felt this quality from doctors who were exempt from medical fees, so he slowly became more interested in the doctorial profession after that.
But Qu Huanzhang's real contact with medicine is because of his brother-in-law, because his brother-in-law is a doctor, Qu Huanzhang often goes out with his brother-in-law to consult, and slowly learns a lot of medical knowledge. Later, he found that many patients had pain problems, so Qu Huanzhang thought that if he could develop a special drug, so that patients could be treated as soon as possible, they could also suffer less from some pain.
03
Later, Qu Huanzhang bid farewell to his brother-in-law and visited doctors around the world, looking for folk secret remedies, and spent a long time, and finally Qu Huanzhang successfully developed a special medicine for pain, he named this medicine Baibaodan, which is the predecessor of Qu's white medicine. This medicine is extremely effective for injuries, once it came out, it was sold out, and then the Outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the demand for Baibaodan on the battlefield was also very large, and Qu Huanzhang specially dispensed medicines to the troops.
Later, Bai Baodan was known to the Japanese army, and the Japanese army also wanted to get the formula, so they found a reason to deceive Qu Huanzhang and let the head of the Japanese army's pharmaceutical department talk to him, but Qu Huanzhang hated the atrocities of the Japanese army and refused to hand over the secret recipe, and the Japanese army saw the situation and arrested him; they felt that since Qu Huanzhang could not be used, they simply killed qu Huanzhang to avoid future troubles, and in this way, Qu Huanzhang died in the prison of the Japanese army, only 58 years old. Qu Huanzhang's death was infuriating, as a healer, and did not directly participate in the war, he was killed by the invaders, and the behavior of the Japanese army was simply disgraceful.
epilogue
In the "Zuo Chuan Zhao A.D. Year", it is recorded, "When afflicted, do not forget the country, and be loyal." Qu Huanzhang would rather die than hand over the secret recipe, because he hated the atrocities of the Japanese army and could only use it on the people of his country, and this spirit of fearlessness and generosity in the face of danger is a strong desire to serve the country and deserves the admiration of each of us.
