Yunnan Baiyao in our real life, the frequency of use is very high. But many people do not know who the founder of Yunnan Baiyao is, or even the history behind Yunnan Baiyao.

Many people think that Yunnan Baiyao is a brand that has exploded in recent years, but they do not know that as early as the Republic of China period, Yunnan Baiyao has already taken shape. Qu Huanzhang, the founder of Yunnan Baiyao, was a famous physician in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Trauma during the Republic of China.

Qu Huanzhang's life was also tragic enough, he had no father at the age of 7, and his mother at the age of 9. Qu Huanzhang only has three sisters around him to rely on each other for his life, so Qu Huanzhang is a child with a bitter life. When he was a teenager, Qu Huanzhang was supported by his grandmother and brother-in-law.

What really brought Qu Huanzhang into the medical industry was his brother-in-law. He studied wound medicine with his brother-in-law at that time, and after Qu Huanzhang got married, he and his wife processed and formulated white medicine and other wound medicines together. Later, after Qu Huanzhang learned a little essence, he visited Yao Hongjun as a teacher to learn the secret recipe for curing injuries in the Wudang Sect.

Qu Huanzhang spent a lot of time in medicine, and he traveled all over the famous mountains in Yunnan at that time, learning the spirit of Shennong and tasting hundreds of herbs. He also studied with different people at that time and humbly asked the local people for advice, during which Qu Huanzhang learned a lot of medical knowledge, which laid a lot of foundation for him to develop Baibaodan (that is, Yunnan Baiyao).

After the development of Baibaodan, Qu Huanzhang has tested the medicinal properties after decades of repeated research and development, and Baibaodan has been successfully developed. The efficacy of Montbutan is mainly to treat bruises, as long as some trauma is caused, using Papodem is the best choice.

In 1914, Qu Huanzhang returned to his hometown, through years of hard work, repeated research, and finally invented Qu's white medicine, which was inspected by the Yunnan Provincial Police Department Health Center in 1916, listed as excellent, and sold publicly.

Because of the obvious efficacy of Qu's white medicine, it was quickly valued by the Yunnan government, and Tang Jiyao, the overseer of Yunnan at that time, appointed him as the director of the Dian Medical Department of Donglu Hospital and the first class military doctor of the teaching regiment. In 1922, Qu Huanzhang moved the clinic to Kunming, and the following year, Tang Jiyao presented the plaque of "Medicine Crown Nandian". Although Qu's baiyao became famous, Qu Huanzhang did not stop the pace of development, and in 1927, he successfully developed the refined white medicine of "one medicine three dan and one son" (ordinary white medicine dan, heavy liter bai bao dan, three liters of bai bao dan and insurance sub).

In 1928, bottled white medicine was listed and exported to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Japan and other places. As Qu's white medicine became more and more famous and its sales became larger and larger, in 1931, Qu Huanzhang built the "Qu Huan Zhang Pharmacy" on Jinbi Road in Kunming, and asked someone to ghostwrite and edit the two books "Qu Huan Zhang Grass and Wood Chapter" and "Qu Huan Zhang Survival Record".

With the growth of Qu's white medicine, some people in order to make ill-gotten gains, even produced some counterfeit products, Qu Huanzhang developed a unique method: with 1-2 special pills attached to the bottle mouth of the powder, not only is Qu's special sign, but also a strong medicine.

The drug is specially used to treat very sick people, and Qu Huanzhang's method has curbed the emergence of counterfeit products. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Qu Huanzhang was patriotic and willing to contribute to the War of Resistance. He donated 30,000 bottles of BaiBaodan to all the officers and men of the two armies, and contributed to the victory in the Battle of Taierzhuang.

In 1938, Qu Huanzhang received a notice from the Nationalist government entrusting him with the position of director of the Central Chinese Medical Center. At that time, Jiao Yitang, a member of the National Government and president of the Supreme Court, personally came forward and invited him to "discuss the great cause together."

Jiao Yitang discussed with Qu Huanzhang to jointly establish the China Pharmaceutical Factory on the pretext of resisting Japan and saving the country, which was actually Jiao Yitang's private factory, and behind Jiao Yitang was the "four major families". Jiao Yitang tried to blackmail Qu Huanzhang into handing over the secret recipe for formulating Bai Baodan on the grounds of resisting Japan.

However, Qu Huanzhang was well aware of the importance of the secret recipe and refused to hand it over. In desperation, Jiao Yitang put Qu Huanzhang under house arrest, and Qu Huanzhang was originally a doctor who could bear it there. In the end, Qu Huanzhang became angry, first sweating, then suffering from summer diarrhea, and his body gradually weakened.

It is regrettable that in August 1938, Qu Huanzhang, a generation of medicine kings and famous doctors, unfortunately passed away at the age of 58. After Qu Huanzhang's death, his wife Miao Lanying continued to preside over the grand pharmacy, producing Baibaodan until liberation.

Later, in order to benefit more people, Miao Lanying handed over the secret recipe for formulating Qu's Baiyao to the people's government, and officially changed its name to "Yunnan Baiyao" in 1956. The reason why we can use such a good product of Yunnan Baiyao is really thanks to Qu Huanzhang's efforts.
