Characteristics of the global TV ODM pattern in December 2021

In the second half of the year, the performance of north America and the Chinese market, the two major sales regions of global TV sets, still declined, in particular, the Chinese market shipments fell by 12.2% year-on-year. With terminal demand seeing no strong prospects, the global TV foundry market continues to be sluggish.

In December, under the efforts of the head factory sprint performance, the total shipments of top ODM factories within the statistical range increased slightly by 0.6% month-on-month and 3.4% year-on-year.

--Among the Top foundries, 4 factories achieved double year-on-year growth, namely: TPV (Guanjie), AMTC (MTC), BOEVT (Video) and Express Luck (Multimedia).

-- TPV (Guanjie) far ahead of other foundries with shipments of about 1.4 million units, up 9% year-on-year and 3% month-on-month. The annual shipment target of 16.5 million units was more than 14 million units, with a completion rate of 85%.

-- AMTC ranked second, once again rebounding to more than one million units, up 6% year-on-year and 26% month-on-month.

--KTC (Kangguan) returned to the top three again after 10 months, with shipments of more than 700,000 units, up 11% month-on-month and 4% year-on-year.

--BOE VT (Video) entered the fourth quarter, with significantly higher shipments, entering the top four for the first time in 2021. More than 700,000 units were shipped in the month, up 32% year-on-year. Chinese mainland the brand Xiaomi and other customers have contributed greatly.

-- TCL SCBC (Maojia) ranked fifth this month, down more than 20% month-on-month. Shipments in the month were the lowest months in the second half of the year, and the volume of goods in other months has been around 900,000 units.

-- Express Luck and HKC both grew by more than 5% from November, maintaining shipments of around 500,000 units.
