The headline poet of "Flower City" in January 2022 was Chen Xianfa, and "Flower City" published 14 of his poems in one go under the title of "If there is a lack of poetry". Old rules, greedy and chewy, let's take a look at his first poem "Bubble".

But this poem really has all the characteristics of the current "bad poem". Of course, the "bad poems" mentioned here are not the "bad poems" mentioned by Peng Min, deputy director of the editorial department of the Poetry Journal. Rather, it refers to poems that don't seem bad on the surface, but are actually bad.

Now when I write poetry, I never divide it according to common sense. When the branch is not divided, when it should not be branched, it is divided. What was originally a good sentence had to be divided into several lines, or even into several paragraphs. For example, in this poem, "--and in their own dimensions", one sentence becomes a paragraph, which cannot be lifted to the ground and hangs.

For example, in this poem, it is "time" and "space", as well as "lost", "latitude", "water grass", "ephemera", "grass crawler", and the title is "bubble". This association is rich enough, right? But what is this for? What do you want to express?

Therefore, the fourth characteristic of "bad poetry" comes out, that is, ignorance. The poet's thinking jumps so hard that the reader can't keep up with the rhythm. A poem seems to say a lot, but it is so that the reader does not understand what to express. Look at it, good poetry! Take a closer look, what's the matter?
The title of the poem is "bubble", and the word "bubble" appears in the poem. But what does this poem have to do with "bubbles"? What does something in this poem have to do with bubbles?
"Bad poetry" feature five: indiscriminate use of punctuation
Poets today seem to have a "punctuation phobia." Whenever they come across punctuation, they are completely out of square. When it's time to use a comma, they use a period, and when it's time to use a period, they use a comma. Or, some poets simply stop to the end, while some poets simply do not use a punctuation mark. For example, in this poem, "... The answer is ", shouldn't the ellipsis be at the back?"
Such a poet is a headline poet, such a poem is a "good poem", no wonder the poet has become a derogatory term now. Such poetry has a greater lethality on the poetry world than the and urine body. and urine body should no longer be imitated, and such poetry may become a sample, become a classic, and be imitated by countless people. Then our poetry world will really become a pool of stagnant water.
