From the day of the birth of the Communist Party of China, leading the workers' movement has become the central task of the Party.

A hundred years of party history, a hundred years of labor movement, the blood and sweat of countless heroic models, awaken the dawn before the dark night.

In September 1929, newspapers and periodicals controlled by the Japanese invaders, such as The Manchurian Daily and the People's Daily of the Three Eastern Provinces, successively published the news that "Fushun arrested ten Communists," and all mentioned a man named "Zhang Guanyi." Judging from the contents of the newspaper, this Zhang Guanyi was simply a thorn in the eye of the Japanese invaders. So, who is this Zhang Guanyi? What kind of experience did he have in Fushun that would allow the Japanese invaders to sleep and hate him so much?

In the Liaoning Provincial Archives, there is a precious historical material, which is the transcript of the enemy's interrogation of Yang Jingyu. From this yellowed transcript, we can see Yang Jingyu's steadfastness and wit under torture, and through a set of fake identities and jobs, he completely denied the enemy's accusations and strictly guarded the party's secrets.

This handsome and strong signature is the handwriting left by General Yang Jingyu, and this bright red handprint was also pressed by General Yang Jingyu himself. Faced with the indomitable Yang Jingyu, the Japanese, who could not get evidence, had no choice but to extradite him to the Kuomintang authorities. In December 1929, Yang Jingyu was sentenced to one and a half years in prison by the Kuomintang Liaoning Provincial High Court. Although his working hours in Fushun were short, Yang Jingyu succeeded in sowing the seeds of revolution among the miners. On September 20, 1930, the Fushun Workers' Federation was established, marking the birth of the first local trade union in Fushun.

At this time, the Japanese invaders had already occupied the northeast, and Zhang Guanyi changed his name to "Yang Jingyu" from then on, determined to expel foreign enemies, and began an armed anti-Japanese struggle. The underground warriors who organized the workers' movement eventually became the anti-Japanese heroes of the Wei Zhen Wokou.
