It was at this moment of national ruin that Mr. He was born in 1896 to a poor family in Sangzhi County, Hunan Province. Because of his family's financial constraints, he attended a private school for less than 5 years, and he was forced to drop out of school to run the housework.

He is like a "dragon among men" who fights righteousness and wealth and dares to fight against evil forces.
In 1914, at the age of 18, He Long followed Sun Yat-sen to the Chinese Revolutionary Association. In the last two years, he followed Dr. Sun Yat-sen in many revolutions.
Insisting on anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism, he has been imprisoned three times, but he has always been mighty and unyielding.
In 1916, He Long saw the opportunity and began a personal career of two kitchen knives to make a revolution, and personally formed an armed team. Although the early revolutions were repeatedly frustrated, they also made many achievements in the later patriotic and Dharma protection movements.
The creation of this force also provided a precedent for the later formation of the people's army by the Communist Party of China.
In 1926, he participated in the Northern Expedition; in 1928, he led and participated in the Xiangjiang Uprising; in 1927, he encountered Chiang Kai-shek launching the "412 Counter-Revolutionary Coup".
Only gradually made He Long shift from the Original Belief in the Three People's Principles to communism.
The landmark event that really swore an oath to He Long's transition from the Kuomintang to the Communist Party was the Nanchang Uprising, in which Marshal He Long led his army and fired the first shot. Since 1934, He Long has been fully involved in the command of the Red Army.

He Pengfei, the son of President He, was a vice admiral of the People's Liberation Army Navy of the Chinese. At that time, he named his son "Pengfei", the meaning of which was that he wanted him to be as loyal to the country as Yue Fei in the future; his daughter He Jie once served as the director of the Military Encyclopedia Research Department of the Academy of Military Sciences, and was later awarded the rank of major general.
