More than a year ago, Ubisoft announced that it was developing two VR games for the Meta Quest headset. Recently, YouTube blogger and technology industry analyst Brad Lynch found a job post on Ubisoft's job site, which specifically mentioned Ubisoft's previously announced VR game and a new game project.

The job posting shows that Ubisoft is assembling a brand new team for a never-before-announced VR project and hiring an associate producer for the Blue Byte studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, a position that will involve developing existing Ubisoft IP and working with other Ubisoft studios.
The job offer doesn't specify which IPs are being developed or which studios are involved, but if Ubisoft's other VR projects show any indications, Düsseldorf-based Blue Byte could work with Ubisoft Mumbai, Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft.
The job posting also mentions cutting-edge VR technology, which means the project could be separate from Umsioft's push for Assassin's Creed and Cell Splinter IPs on Oculus devices. Given sony's upcoming PlayStation VR2 and Ubisoft's release history of supporting new devices, this project has the potential to be the first released game for Sony's upcoming VR headset. It could also be released alongside Meta Quest Pro, Oculus Quest's next-generation iteration.
