Recently, The official of The United Trust has brought a tutorial of the UOS Community Edition deepin perfectly adapted to VR devices, and immersive steam VR games can be played.
Let's start with the configuration
Operating system: deepin 20.5

01 Install the graphics driver
Open the terminal in deepin, and if the graphics card is AMD's, execute:

Launch Steam VR

Possible problems and solutions
1. If it is an NVIDIA graphics card, the headset is not displayed or the sound is not normal, first try to download the latest driver from the NVIDIA official website and install it manually, note that the installation process requires systemctl stop lightdm, and install it with the command line.
2, NVIDIA graphics card updated driver, or use amD graphics card headset is still no display or sound is not normal, if you are using UOS, please try deepin, if you use deepin still no improvement, please update the kernel:
sudo apt install linux-headers-5.15.24-amd64-desktop linux-image-5.15.24-amd64-desktop
After the kernel is updated, reboot the machine.
3. For games that cannot run / run abnormally, you can try to modify the Proton version of the game:
Right-click on the game - > compatibility
Modify the Proton version number.
