In 2017, Golden Dragon Bus and Baidu joined hands for the first time to promote the development and application of China's autonomous driving technology, representing the beginning of a new revolution in automobiles. China's first L4 self-driving bus in cooperation has ushered in a new era of autonomous driving services for mass transportation. In July 2018, the two sides jointly launched 100 Apollon off-the-line. In August 2021, Apollon's new upgrade to Apollon II was officially unveiled in Huangpu, Guangzhou. As of today, the self-driving bus Apollon has achieved commercial operation in 31 regions and 38 scenarios across the country, and the self-driving bus Robobus covers 11 cities across the country. At the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics, Apollon II will operate in Shougang Park to provide quality services for athletes and VIPs from all over the world who come to China, and demonstrate advanced autonomous driving technology. Golden Dragon Bus will set up a special support team to provide a full range of operational support.
