As soon as I got off the plane from Nakagawa Airport, I saw the construction scene in full swing nearby. It is understood that this is the third phase of the expansion project of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport, and the construction period is 4 years. At that time, Gansu will have a strong modern comprehensive transportation hub.
On the Internet, "Du Niang" informed that not long ago, Gansu Province was approved by the Ministry of Transport to become a pilot for the construction of a transportation power, relying on the third phase of the airport to build a land-air three-dimensional integrated aviation hub project is one of the five pilots, as well as the greater Dunhuang traffic and tourism integration development, vehicle and road collaborative innovation development, transportation investment and financing system and mechanism innovation research and Longyuan rural revitalization "four good rural road" construction four pilot projects. Along the way, I sincerely like many things.
During the trip, I saw that every service area had the big words "Driver's Home" written on it. After going in, I saw that there were many kinds of meals inside, and the service hall was like a comfortable café, with sofas, coffee tables, massage chairs, televisions, mobile phone charging treasures, etc., and there were convenience stores, lounges, showers next to it... Clean and tidy.
I asked the driver of the break, "Is it expensive to rest here?" The answer was: "10 yuan for a bath, 40 yuan for an ordinary bed for a night, are quite cheap." The most critical thing is that now the service area has 'car and cargo worry-free' insurance, in the service area encountered goods, fuel, financial theft, casualties and other problems, (Gansu) transportation department will be within 24 hours of rapid compensation, they do not have to pay a penny. "The driver's eldest brother told me that when he was particularly relieved to stay in the service area, he couldn't help but give a thumbs up, this time he didn't need my likes, the truck driver had already nodded for me."
I have been to Wuwei Minqin County. Not long ago, there was a highway that renewed the rhythm of life- the Beixian Expressway. This is the first expressway in Minqin County, and its completion has also allowed Wuwei to achieve a high-speed bypass. It is said that on July 9, 2021, Gansu also opened 6 expressways at one time, with a total mileage of 559 kilometers, setting a record for the longest one-time traffic mileage of Gansu Expressway, and also allowing Gansu to basically build the main skeleton of the "two horizontal and seven vertical" highways that enter the east and west and expand the south and north. I excitedly praised Gansu's traffic development once again.
Really, in recent years, Gansu's transportation industry has undergone earth-shaking changes, and the achievements are obvious to all. It is understood that by the end of 2020, the actual length of roads in the province will reach 223,000 kilometers, the expressway will exceed 6,000 kilometers, nearly 17,000 kilometers of secondary and above highways will connect urban and rural areas, and 192,000 kilometers of rural roads, including natural village group roads, will be accessible in all directions. All qualified organized villages are connected to hardened roads and buses, and 100% of the formed villages are connected to mail, which has helped all 75 poverty-stricken counties to get rid of poverty and remove their hats, fulfilling the solemn promise of "never letting any place be left behind due to traffic on the well-off road".
Entering the "14th Five-Year Plan", Gansu traffic has once again "accelerated". Especially after the "Luyan Economy" proposed by the Gansu Provincial Department of Transport was written into the plan ("14th Five-Year Plan"), the Ministry of Transport also included industry-related documents, gave corresponding policy support, and exchanged views on the development of the Luyan economy at this year's World Transport Conference. At the same time, Gansu Transportation also carefully planned the "project package", actively supported the "policy package", through the form of door-to-door docking and "cloud investment", launched 10 national toll roads and 10 road-derived economic quality projects with a total investment of about 130 billion yuan to the top 100 central enterprises and private enterprises. So, I gave a thumbs up again to Gansu traffic.
Every time I go anywhere, I love to hear local stories. What touched me the most about this trip was the story of "Eight Trees" in Jiayuguan——
In the wind-torn Gobi Desert, planting a tree is as difficult as raising a baby. In the 1950s, a road maintenance worker named Zheng Zhanqian, in addition to hard work, led the workers and his wife, who was four months pregnant, to use a stove stick and an iron spoon to chisel the hard sand and plant the newly returned poplar branches. After many hardships, eight saplings survived and became the most dazzling landmark on the Gobi Highway. Although Zheng Zhanqian, who planted the "Eight Trees", has passed away, his name and the spirit of "Eight Trees" have been passed down among the traffic people in Gansu for a long time.
"Rooted in the Gobi, hard work, selfless dedication, willing to be a road stone", riding on the wide and smooth Gansu road, the scenery next to the road is picturesque, those few words are like the narration of the movie, flashing in front of the eyes from time to time... This criss-crossing road network is the guarantee for Gansu's economic and social take-off, and it is also the confidence to boost the people of Gansu to move forward.
