However, it is interesting that Qianlong and Kangxi have both visited Jiangnan six times, indicating that Jiangnan is indeed a good place, so why is only Yongzheng not interested? Kang Yongqian's three dynasties of prosperity Yongzheng deserved to be a person who carried on from top to bottom, and without the reforms implemented by Yongzheng, Qianlong's life would never have been so good.
In addition, Yongzheng also vigorously rectified the finances. It is no exaggeration to say that the entire Qing Dynasty said that Yongzheng was the most serious in suppressing greed. He practiced the practice of returning envy to the public, established a system of raising honest silver, and implemented the practice of collecting grain as a whole for officials and gentry, which greatly improved the corrupt atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty.
If Kangxi is already diligent enough, he is still much inferior to Yongzheng. Yongzheng himself once commented on himself: "Diligence before the world", indicating that "diligence" is Yongzheng's high requirements for himself, how to deal with the world's affairs is more, so busy where is the time to go around?
The second reason is also very simple, as we said earlier, why did Yongzheng suppress greed as soon as he took the throne? Because he was poor, Kangxi began to neglect the government in the last years, and the corruption of officials gradually increased. Therefore, the income of the imperial court is naturally not high, and perhaps the people still complain and complain. Yongzheng's ascension to the throne is no longer optimistic, so Yongzheng will suppress greed. That's how Cao Xueqin's family was copied, and Cao Xueqin wrote "Dream of the Red Chamber" based on herself, what "Jia is not fake, white jade is a horse for Tang Jin."
