A few days ago, Volkswagen Kanche learned from FAW Besturn officials that its Besturn B70S will be listed at the end of March this year. As a new coupe SUV model of Pentium, the biggest highlight of the new car is the use of a sneaky exterior design, which is more youthful and dynamic overall. The power section will be available in both 1.5T and 2.0T engines.
In terms of appearance, compared with the current model of the Pentium family, the front face design of the Pentium B70S is more radical, using a new "sexy curved surface of light and shadow philosophy" design language. The front part of the face adopts an upper and lower split air intake grille, the upper part is composed of vertical chrome trim, and the lower part is a large trapezoidal black intake grille, which looks extremely aggressive.
On the side of the body, the side skirt, the wheel eyebrows and the outer rearview mirror cover are also blackened to emphasize the sporty positioning. In the rear part of the car, the new car adopts the current popular through-type taillight group design, which has excellent recognition after lighting up at night.
At the same time, the top of the tail is also equipped with a small tail wing, coupled with the tail lip of the diffuser shape below and a two-sided exhaust layout, making the whole vehicle more youthful and sporty. In terms of body dimensions, the new car has a length of 4555/1850/1515 mm and a wheelbase of 2750 mm.
In terms of interior, the interior of the car is dominated by black, supplemented by a large number of piano paint and chrome materials to create a high luxurious and fashionable atmosphere. At the same time, the new car also has a large double screen, flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel and electronic barrier and other practical accessories.
In the power segment, the Pentium B70S will be supplied with two engines, 1.5T and 2.0T, of which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 124 kW and a peak torque of 258 Nm, matching a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission; and a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 165 kW and a peak torque of 340 N M, matching a 6-speed manual transmission.
