Such a popular repertoire is the work of a generation of "Le Sheng" dedicated to Alice. So who is "Alice"? Why would she ask a well-known composer to compose a piano piece specifically for her? Just like who exactly is "Li Yan Zhai", it is likely to become a mystery that will never have an answer. But just as "Fat Yan Zhai" must be Cao Xueqin's intimate person, Alice must also be Beethoven's beloved person. It is precisely because she is Beethoven's beloved that it will arouse the curiosity and attention of scholars of all generations, and spare no effort to study and argue about her true identity.

Born in Bonn, Germany in 1770, Ludwig van Beethoven was one of the representatives of the Viennese Classical School. Beethoven's boyhood was a tough environment, and his father, Jackie Chan, wanted to turn him into a second Mozart. But Bonn is a small place with little guidance from famous teachers. However, this also prompted Beethoven to exercise the creative spirit of independent thinking very early.
In 1779 he began to study music with his first important teacher, court music director and organist Christian Gotttlieb Neefe (1748-1798). Nefer was a brilliant Bole who predicted that Beethoven would be Mozart's successor. He also introduced the keyboard works of Bach and others to Beethoven.
In 1782, Beethoven took up positions such as assistant to the local church organist and wrote his first works. He first visited Vienna in 1787 and played for Mozart. Mozart predicted a brilliant future for him. (Mozart prophesied the Emperor!) )
From 1801 onwards, just after his death, Beethoven suffered from both emotions and illness, and his temper began to become grumpy and obedient, because he did not want others to find out that he had problems with his hearing, and he began to stay away from the Viennese social circle, living in isolation and moving frequently. From April to early October 1802, under the persuasion of doctors and friends, Beethoven temporarily left the city of Vienna for recuperation in the suburban town of Heiligenstadt. So is that just the time? There was a girl named "Alice" who gave important support and help to the young but deaf Beethoven?
In fact, the name "To Alice" is a misinformation. The more mainstream version is that Beethoven wrote a sentence "to Teresa" (German: Für Therese) on the manuscript of this work, but this sentence was mistakenly copied by a sloppy scorer as "to Alice" (German: Für Elise, pronounced similar to Teresa in German). Since then, in all the scores, the "Teresa" in the speech of this work has become "Alice".
And this girl, Teresa Malfati, was a female student taught by Beethoven, who was nearly forty years old. Beethoven has always had a fondness for her, and once wrote a small song "Bagatelle in A minor" to her in a very happy and comfortable mood, and inscribed the words "Dedicated to Teresa, April 27, 1810, in commemoration" on the score.
"To Alice" is a melody, the whole song consists of 5 sections. Whether it is the main theme with a faint sense of sadness, the first theme of the sweet vision, or the second insert of the firm and deep harmony and colorful style, it is so moving and beautiful.
The iconic Alice theme in the song is repeated 16 times over and over again, but we don't get cumbersome. Instead, what we hear is Beethoven repeatedly calling out his lover's name until the end of the music.
Beethoven's success in combining tradition, innovation and personal affection made him not only a dominant musician of the 19th century, but also a pivotal figure in the history of Western music.
Listening to history, recalling history, tasting history, after reading the above things, do you have any ideas?
