American McGee, the creator of the Alice series, recently released a preview video of the design concept book of the new series "Alice in the Madhouse", covering all aspects of the game, including scripts, gameplay, key dialogues, art concept maps, etc., with more than 250 pages.
American McGee says the book will be produced in late 2022 or early 2023 and will be available for free.
American McGee, who currently relies on crowdfunding to sustain the game's development, expressed his hope in the video that Alice insane Asylum will receive more development support:
I work in front of the computer every day, and I want people with a truckload of cash to see the team working and support us in creating the game.
I sincerely hope, but sometimes wishes are not enough, so there is still work to be done.
Last year, McGee published the script for Alice's Madhouse, but the rights to the series belong to EA, and EA's approval is required for the release of the new game. After EA released the Dead Space Remake, McGee also expressed his desire on Twitter that EA could revive the IP of Alice.
