Sun Xiaoyun (The 8th Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and a member of the 11th National Committee of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles), born in 1955 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a national first-class artist, the chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Calligraphers Association, the counselor of the Jiangsu Provincial Government, the vice chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, and the honorary curator of the Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum. He is a member of the national calligraphy exhibition and the Lanting Award, and the vice president of the Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Institute of the National Academy of Painting of China. Doctoral supervisor and master supervisor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, doctoral supervisor of Soochow University, dean of Chinese Calligraphy Research Institute of Nanjing University. He has published "Calligraphy with Law", "Selected Calligraphy of Sun Xiaoyun", "Tao Te Ching", "University", "Zhongyong", "Analects", "Mencius", "Family Rules and Family Training in Past Dynasties" and so on.
Sun Xiaoyun is a famous female calligrapher of our time, who has been learning to write calligraphy under the enlightenment of her mother since the age of three, and has been tireless for nearly 60 years. She regards writing as a "female red", always adheres to the inheritance of the context, returns to tradition, accurately understands the characteristics and essentials of various book styles, and gradually forms a natural style of writing with long-term practice and research. This is especially evident in her small lines of grass and small lines of writing, full of feelings and law.
With her traditional thesis skills and personal calligraphy, she has become one of the figures in today's book world. Since the mid-1980s, it has won many national awards and has had a significant impact at home and abroad. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Chairman of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, the Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, and the Honorary Curator of the Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum. He is a deputy to the 17th and 18th National Congresses of the Communist Party of China and a member of the 9th and 10th China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He was rated as "National Advanced Worker" by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, "National Outstanding Professional and Technical Talents" by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and was rated as "National Literary and Art Worker of Virtue and Art" by the China Federation of Literature and Art, the "Lanting Award" and "Art Award", the highest award of Chinese calligraphy, and the first "Zijin Cultural Medal" of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.
