Calligraphers send "blessings" on the spot
Wang Yan, director of the Calligraphy Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, believes that the Guangdong Provincial Book Association has invited more than 100 calligraphy masters nationwide to praise the great rivers and mountains of the motherland and carry forward the excellent traditional culture as the writing content, and carefully created a large number of high-standard and high-level excellent calligraphy works that are ideological, artistic and ornamental and sent to the grass-roots level and rural areas for centralized exhibition, creating a healthy cultural atmosphere and making the calligraphy art benefit the people and the people.
After the first "Guangdong Provincial Peasant Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Works Exhibition" was exhibited in the local Lotus Cultural Park more than half a month ago, the "National Calligraphy Masterpieces Exhibition" in 2022 has entered the grassroots community. Ma Qingcai, secretary of the party group of the Shantou Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, said that such a high-standard and high-grade calligraphy exhibition has been held in the countryside one after another, which is very grounded and well received by the people, and the famous masterpieces displayed in this exhibition can bring new artistic enjoyment and ideological enlightenment to everyone.
On the opening day of the exhibition, the Guangdong Provincial Book Association also organized calligraphy masters inside and outside the province to carry out the "Our Chinese Dream" - Cultural Into Ten Thousand Calligraphy Volunteer Service Public Welfare Activities" on the spot. Shi Li, Jiang Shoutian, Xie Shaocheng, Yang Yong, Yan Yiduan, Li Feihong, Ma Qingcai, Xie Jiahua, Li Yue and other 15 calligraphy masters wrote "Fu" and sent "Fu" to the local people on the spot. The exhibition runs from February 3 to February 18.
