In the past five years, the Guangdong Calligraphers Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Provincial Book Association") has deeply cultivated the rich minerals of Lingnan culture and created a new highland of Lingnan calligraphy with high-quality products. Since 2014, the Provincial Book Association has been awarded the title of "Advanced Collective of Chinese Calligraphy into Ten Thousand Homes Activities" by the China Federation of Literature and Literature and the China Book Association for six consecutive years, and 20 individual calligraphers have been awarded the title of "Advanced Individuals in Chinese Calligraphy into Ten Thousand Families Activities"; Professor Chen Yongzheng has been awarded the Second Guangdong Literature and Art Lifetime Achievement Award; Wang Daoguo, Peng Shuanglong, Ou Guangxin, Wu Zhiyong and Wang Yonggang have won the 10th Guangdong Lu Xun Literary and Art Award.
In recent years, in the various exhibitions held by the China Book Association, the number of exhibitors in Guangdong ranked among the top five in the country, and the number of winners ranked among the top four in the country, for example, the 12th National Exhibition in Guangdong reached 77. In the 7th Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award in 2021, Guangdong Peng Shuanglong, Yan Yiduan and Zhu Guiming won the prize (entered the exhibition), and the Guangdong Book Association won the "Advanced Unit for the Organization of the 7th Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award".

In recent years, the Provincial Book Association has successively held exhibitions such as "Lingnan Fenghua I Love You China - Guangdong Calligraphy Exhibition Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" and "Striving for a Hundred Years of Road and Setting Sail for a New Journey - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China Guangdong Calligraphy Exhibition".
In 2020, the Provincial Book Association has held a series of exhibitions of calligraphy works on the theme of fighting the epidemic, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility of calligraphy workers with practical actions. Strengthen calligraphy exchanges at home and abroad, hold Chinese-Korean, Sino-Japanese calligraphy exchange exhibitions, "Celebrating the Victory of the Nineteenth National Congress - Meet Dunhuang, Five Provinces and Cities Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition" and so on.

The Presidium of the Provincial Book Association and some famous calligraphers formed nearly 100 red light cavalry detachments to widely carry out public welfare activities to benefit the people, and only "calligraphers sent ten thousand blessings into ten thousand homes" reached more than 1,000 times, benefiting nearly 500,000 people.
