Third, the beautiful jade legs on the sundeck

Friends have been in the northeast, and we met at a literary event. At that time, it was the era of "Wenqing". We were both literary youths, and we both liked to play harmonica, and when we came and went, we became iron brothers.

Friends' home is on the elevated side of Yan'an, which is a Shikumen building and an old-fashioned alley. As soon as you enter the alley, the first thing you see is a telephone booth, next to a urinal with an inverted spittoon, and the toilet smells foul. Friends are anxious and abandon their faces. A cultural person stands straight and straight with his back to the alley.

The friend's house is number eighteen, and there are boxes on both sides. I walked to the back door, but saw the mottled black paint, and on the door panels and door frames, there were six letter boxes fixed in a staggered high and low. Push open the back door to enter a passageway, the stove on the right side of the passage is a six-house shared, there are six water pipes in a row by the window, and some faucets are locked with iron cans. Because it was already four o'clock in the afternoon, the stove was overcrowded, and six men and women were busy making dinner in pots and pans. In the stove room, each household hung a lamp head, and the wires were pulled east and west, weaving into a large black spider web, the light bulbs were covered with oil smoke, and the roof was smoked dark brown.

My friend saw that the stove room was overcrowded and led me around to the front door.

That was the first time I went to a friend's house. It was also on that day that I, who usually did not watch TV much, because of a casual glance at a friend's house, I walked into the Oriental 110 on the TV and approached Iger.

Because Shikumen has my childhood complex and juvenile imprint, I pay special attention to Shikumen. As soon as you enter the front door of a friend's house, you will see a small patio, the back of the patio is the living room, and then a patio, the back patio is the stove room and the back door just now, and the patio and living room are flanked by the left and right compartments. When I came in front, I had already seen the old wall on the back of the box, which had fallen into disrepair and peeled off, full of traces left by the wind and rain erosion of the past century. On the first floor, the stove room is above the pavilion room.

This pavilion room of friends, with twelve square meters, is a unit divided into rooms. There is no sanitary equipment in the house, if you want to go to the toilet, either the public flush toilet on the corner of the stairs in the bottom floor is convenient, or you have to bring your own toilet urine pot, and after using it, go to the public toilet outside and dump it.

Even though it was only in the pavilion, friends were already satisfied. My friend works at the housing management office and has been living in the staff dormitory because he has no room to live in.

Home arrived. The door of the house faces west, and in front of the door, there is a north-south upward staircase on the left and right. The staircase up the north has fifteen blocks, which is a hollow staircase that leads to the third floor; the south-up staircase is only five blocks, leading to the pavilion and the sundeck shared on the third floor. Fifteen hollow ladders lean against one side of the wall, and there are three wooden squares stacked on top of each other. A friend went to Daxing'anling, Heilongjiang, to join the team and worked as a carpenter there. He knew that Shanghai was tight on timber, and when the policy was implemented to return to Shanghai, the train was consigned back.

The room was simply furnished, a large cupboard, a chest of drawers, a bed, a night pot box, a table plus four chairs and a glass cabinet. It was the 1980s. Because the "50" have reached the marriageable age, the number of this group is huge, the materials on the market are very scarce, furniture is a hot commodity, and it is necessary to supply a limited quantity with a marriage certificate.

I sat facing south. My friend turned on the electric fan and soaked a pot of longjing. The tea has not yet been drunk, and the aroma of tea has escaped.

Stairs are loud and not heavy. But I could tell it was coming down from the third floor and then going up to the sundeck.

At this time, sitting facing south, I saw two very beautiful jade legs.

My friend saw my gaze passing through the glass window, glued to two jade legs, raised his right hand and dangled in front of me: "Have you seen enough?" ”

"Ah, you have a sundeck above you."

"Yes, and a pair of beautiful jade legs."

The staircase is loud, or not heavy. Jade Leg went upstairs.

My friend saw that I was interested in the sunbathing table and opened the door to take me to the sundeck. Standing on the sundeck, the red brick façade of the Shikumen gate and the sloped roof with bermer windows, as well as the living rooms of the neighbors on the left and right, can be seen. The sundeck is not large, about six square meters. On the sunbathing platform, there are also seven or eight pots of flowers on the low ground. On the south side of the drying table, there is also a drying rack made of metal steel pipes. On the hanger, of course, there were a few pieces of clothing hanging out. Drying clothes on the sundeck hanger was a common thing. My curiosity is that my friend is a single king old five, on the hanger, but it is a man's unforgettable, gorgeous youth, dynamic underwear. It was at this time that it occurred to me that although my friend had been complaining in front of us about the non-conformity between the pavilions, he had never thought of improving. The reason for this may be because of this south window, because of this sundeck and this pair of beautiful jade legs!

That's true.

The dim light between the pavilions made me feel calm. I remember that evening, my friend sang "Three Sets of Cars" under the wooden window of the small lattice, in his thick baritone; I accompanied him with a bass harmonica to a large enamel cup at the aisle between the sundeck and the living room. The echo produced by the enamel cup increases the sonic thickness of the bass harmonica.

The sound insulation between the pavilions is very poor, and the voice of the friend is thick and not harsh, and it seems that it has not affected the third floor.

The dim light between the pavilions, I have never forgotten.
