The ancients had the tradition of sacrificing ancestors and gods and praying for a good harvest, and the custom of drinking Laba porridge has always been passed down.

Lapa porridge is also known as eight treasure porridge,

Combine the eight square foods together and cook them with rice,

It is the meaning of bringing together all things and reconciling a thousand spirits.

Doucai dragon phoenix pattern bowl

Qing Dynasty (1644–1911)

Height 6.7 cm, caliber 14.9 cm

The color of this bowl is beautiful, colorful and vulgar, reflecting the aesthetics of the Qing Dynasty royal family. On the court eating utensils of the Qing Dynasty, dragon and phoenix patterns were common. The dragon is the length of the scale insect, the phoenix is the king of the birds, and the dragon and phoenix are called the dragon and phoenix in the auspicious pattern.
