Among them, the Northeast Field Army was the strongest, that is, the later Fourth Field Army.

Jiang Shun was a student in June 1926, a native of Shen County, Hebei Province. Jiang Shunxue's childhood was spent in the warlord melee, when the people of Yanzhao were not happy, and because of the special strategic position, the warlords of all walks of life sang and appeared on the scene.

After the September 18 Incident, the Japanese army was not satisfied with invading and occupying the northeast, and set its sights on north China. Before the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance, Hebei had become a real anti-Japanese front.

After the victory of the War of Resistance, Jiang Shunxue advanced with his army into the northeast. Jiang Shunxue's unit was reorganized several times and was incorporated into the 3rd Battalion of the 108th Regiment of the 12th Column 36th Division of the Northeast Field Army (Battalion Commander Jiang Shunxue). In November 1948, the Liaoshen Campaign was over, and the Northeast Field Army was reorganized under the orders of the Central Military Commission, and then the army entered the customs.

Against this background, the 12th Column of the Northeast Field Army was renamed the 49th Army of the Fourth Field Army, implementing the 44 system, with the 145th Division, the 146th Division, the 147th Division, and the 162nd Division under its jurisdiction (assigned to the Hunan Military Region in August 1949), and Jiang Shunxue served as the deputy chief of staff of the 441st Regiment of the 147th Division. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sanno was ordered to form a navy, and the responsibility of forming an air force was entrusted to Shino. Based on this, the headquarters of the 49th Army was changed to the 3rd Army Of the Air Force. The divisions under their jurisdiction have also been reorganized as follows:

The 145th Division was incorporated into the 21st Corps;

The 146th Division was transferred to the Guangxi Military Region;

The 147th Division was reorganized into the 12th Division of the Public Security Army.

At this point, the number of the 49th Army became history, and Jiang Shunxue also became the commander of a certain unit of the 12th Division of the Public Security Army.
