From now until December 20, the exhibition "2020: Tan Ping Field Creation" will be held at the Art Gallery of Artron Art Center in Shenzhen. Artist and educator Tan Ping, currently the director of the Experimental Art Committee of the China Artists Association, took "2020" as the theme to complete his latest implementation and expression of field painting in Shenzhen, a vibrant city. The exhibition is hosted by Artron (Shenzhen) Art Center and supported by shenzhen municipal special funds for the development of publicity and culture. It is open to the public free of charge during the exhibition period, and the public needs to make a reservation in advance and closes on Mondays.

According to reports, from October 28 to 30, 3 days of uninterrupted creation, in the face of an 815 square meters of architectural space full of uncertainty, Tan Ping found a new creative perspective in continuous action, chose to cover "black" with "black", in the "black" wall introspection, symbolic barrier and isolated color became an important creative carrier for the artist in the special moment - layer by layer with a flat shovel scraped black, from shiny to dull, from texture to smooth, seeking a short period of calm in the process, to attain spiritual transcendence.
Tan Ping also held an exhibition keynote speech "Time and Space - My Creative Method" in the World Art District on the 5th floor of Shenzhen Artron Art Center, sharing his thoughts on time and space and his artistic creation for more than 40 years. Liu Xiaodu, director of Shenzhen Pingshan Art Museum and a well-known architect, expressed his gratitude to Tan Ping for giving new meaning to space with works of art in this industrial-style architectural space, and shared his understanding of architecture and art, exhibition and space.
