After the destruction of the city of Xia Pi, Guan Yu temporarily returned to Cao Cao's command, and in order to repay his kindness, he once said to Cao Cao in the Battle of Guandu: "Although Guan Mou is not talented, he would like to beg Yan Liang for the sake of The Minister, and behead the head of the Ugly Wen, to repay the favor of the Minister of Xiang and destroy the prestige of Yuan Shao." Soon after saying this, he fulfilled his promise with the Green Dragon Crescent Sword in his hand, laying the foundation for Cao Cao's victory. However, in his later years, Guan Yu underestimated the heroes of the world, and did not even pay attention to Sun Quan, the "lord of Jiangdong".
When Sun Quan wanted to marry him, Guan Yu said this: "Can the tiger girl marry a dog?" In public, he did not save any face for Sun Quan. However, Guan Yu gave his life for this "wild talk", after the careless loss of Jingzhou, his head was taken away by Sun Quan, if he could keep a low profile, maybe history would change, right?
