Piers Harding-Rolls, an analyst at Ampere, recently gave his personal opinion on Nintendo's next-generation console, arguing that Nintendo will not launch the previously rumored Switch Pro, but will directly launch the next generation of consoles after the Switch in late 2024.
Piers Harding-Rolls said: "With the support of the new Switch OLED and new exclusive games such as Pokémon Legend: Al Zeus and Zelda Legend: Breath of the Wild 2, the Nintendo Switch series will once again become the best-selling console in 2022, with an estimated sales of about 21 million units. But I don't think Nintendo will launch the Switch Pro in 2022, but a whole new generation of Nintendo consoles in late 2024. ”
