Michelin has officially released the first edition (2022) of the Michelin Guide for Chengdu.
These include 1 two-star restaurant, 8 one-star restaurants and 13 Bibendon recommended restaurants, as well as a special prize, the Michelin Service Award.
MISS looked at the list for the first time and unexpectedly found that only The Hotel Restaurant of Boshe's Mi Xun Tea Room was on the list. In addition to a vegetarian restaurant and a Cantonese restaurant, most of the restaurants on the list are Sichuan cuisine.
Bibideng, which advertises affordable food, has set a new average price in Chengdu, and is the restaurant of 300 yuan per capita really the daily catering standard of the people of Chengdu?
In this regard, the opinions of Friends in Chengdu are also mixed, some think that the local is indeed the world of Sichuan cuisine, others think that the hot pot is not on the list, it is better to directly change the name to Chengdu Sichuan Cuisine List.

Chengdu Boshe - Mi Xun Tea Room
Boshe has always been MISS's favorite Chengdu hotel, and every stay has a feeling of home, in the bustling Taikoo Li, but there is no hustle and bustle of cars and horses.
Designed by the famous British designer firm Make Architects, the hotel adopts a contemporary architectural style, but also respects chengdu's historical buildings, renovating the old mansion of pen-ti style street and incorporating Qing Dynasty courtyard elements into the design.
The mixun tea room on the list is very much in line with the characteristics of Chengdu people who love to drink tea, coupled with a unique elegant environment, it is naturally favored by young people.
It is said that this place was once the mulberry garden of the East Zen Hall of Daci Temple, so now this name has been retained in the middle of the tea room, and whenever the seasons change, it will present a different idyllic beauty.
Although it is called the Tea Room, there is much more to offer here than the regular Tea Room. Drinking tea and enjoying a vegetarian meal are combined with tea sets and utensils.
Chef Xu Cungui, as a local in Sichuan, has continuously learned Western cooking techniques throughout his chef's career, blending them into Sichuan flavors and blending them into the oriental flavors of nature.
The classic chicken fir mushroom oil braised ma Po tofu and handmade spinach dan dan noodles are a must-order for guests at every table.
However, Mi Xun Tea Room has recently been working as a pop-up shop, so it does not provide catering services, and friends who want to go to dinner may need to wait.

Magnolia
