China has been around for 5,000 years and has a long history. The historians' classics are full of sweat and cattle, which record the legendary life of the emperor and the general. Or it will flow for hundreds of years or leave a stink for thousands of years, and after thousands of years, fame and fortune will be no more than a handful of yellow soil, leaving only a few in the annals of history, recording all their lives.
However, in the long river of history, there are several people, although they were once brilliant, but for various reasons disappeared in the annals of history, and their whereabouts became a mystery. Thousands of years have passed, and no trace of them has been found. Where they are going, no one knows!
One, Lao Tzu
Lao Tzu, riding a green bull, out of the Valley. Lao Tzu, surname Li Ming'er, character 聃, yizi or 谥伯阳. The Huaxia people, a native of Qurenli, Lixiang, Ku County, Chu, lived between about 571 and 471 BC. It is a great philosopher and thinker in ancient China, the founder of the Taoist school, and is posthumously recognized by the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty as the ancestor of the Surname Li. The ultimate fate of Lao Tzu has always been a mystery.
Lao Tzu rode the green bull west out of Hangu Pass, and at the request of Guan Ling Yin Xi, he left the Kuang Shiqi book "Tao Te Ching", and then disappeared, and no one knew where he went. Regarding the whereabouts of Lao Tzu, some people speculate that he may have gone to India through quicksand. It is also said that Lao Tzu may have lived in Lintao, Gansu province in his later years, and after his retreat, Lao Tzu practiced Neidan and Health Cultivation, and finally cultivated into immortals and soared into the heavens. Some people even said that Lao Tzu met a robber on the road and died unexpectedly. Anyway, it is foggy and cannot be cracked so far.
Second, Xun Xian asked, in order to seek the immortal Xu Fu
Xu Fu is said to have gone to the East Crossing Sea to find the elixir, and his surname was Xu. Zi Junfang, a native of Langya County, Qidi, he was erudite, proficient in medicine, astronomy, navigation and other knowledge, and sympathetic to the people, helpful, so he was highly known among the people in the coastal area. Xu Fu wrote that there were three immortal mountains in the sea, Penglai, Abbot and Yingzhou, inhabited by gods and immortals.
So Qin Shi Huang sent Xu Fu to lead thousands of virgin boys and girls, and also prepared grain, clothing, medicine and other materials, which cost a lot of money. However, Xu Wei and his entourage went to sea for many years and did not find the sacred mountain, and Xu Fu lived in the local area (Laoshan Mountain). He left behind his descendants and never returned to China. Some people say that Xu Fu died in the sea, and some say that Xu Fu went to Japan, but historians have not yet reached a recognized conclusion.
Third, Ghost Guzi, Wang Chan Laozu, gods and ghosts are unpredictable
His real name is Wang Xue, because he lives in the land of Qingxi Ghost Valley, so he calls himself Ghost Valley. It is said that Oniguzi was Lao Tzu's apprentice, and before Lao Tzu decided to leave Hangu Pass in the west, he passed on all his skills to him and instructed him to study it carefully. In order to live up to the expectations of his master Lao Tzu, Oniguzi hid in the mountains to practice, and eventually became a cattle man who was proficient in hundreds of schools of learning.
For more than two thousand years, Oniguzi has been revered as the ancestor of the Zongheng family, the fortune teller and divination have respected him as the ancestor, and the Taoists have respected him as Wang Chan Laozu, and the status is almost equal to that of his master Laozi. After that, Oniguzi cultivated many talented disciples, such as Sun Zhen, Pang Juan, Su Qin, Zhang Yi and others, who were the best among many disciples, and even influenced the development of the situation in the Warring States. It is said that Ghost Guzi had already penetrated the heavenly opportunity and calculated that the Qin King, Yingzheng, would rule the world, and also calculated the ultimate fate of each disciple. There is no record in history about where Oniguzi eventually went, and it is estimated that he had to become an immortal.
4. Emperor Jianwen – Zhu Yunjiao
After Zhu Yuanzhang's death, he passed the throne to his grandson Zhu Yunjiao, and after Emperor Jianwen came to power, he called on the whole country to restore the ritual music system and slavery system of the Zhou Dynasty, and then to reduce the power of the uncles of the princes. In desperation, Zhu Di, the King of Yan, rebelled, starting with 800 soldiers from the province, all the way south, and finally defeated Emperor Jianwen, becoming the only prince in history who successfully rebelled.
When the city of Nanjing was breached, Emperor Jianwen wanted to commit suicide, and after being persuaded by his cronies, he escaped from the palace from the tunnels, hid his name, and became a wandering monk. Folk legend has it that there are traces of Emperor Jianwen in many places. The most reliable theory is that Zhu Yunjue fled overseas, because in order to completely get rid of Zhu Di, fleeing abroad is the safest, and the navigation technology of the Ming Dynasty was also very developed, escaping from China should not be difficult, and Zhu Di also sent a large number of ships to the West to find Zhu Yunjiao, but it is still a mystery.
