Yang Zhenjia, a native of Western Xia, was originally a respected Tibetan Buddhist monk who was also appreciated by Kublai Khan, and then became the president of the Jiangnan Sect of the Yuan Dynasty, in charge of Jiangnan Buddhist affairs, but this person was extremely deep-minded and fierce, and after gaining power, he began to abuse his power and superstitiously believe in evil arts.
Later, even on the grounds of "lack of funds for the construction of temples", he dug up the tombs of 6 emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty in one go, looted the treasures in the tombs, and wantonly insulted their bones, and then abandoned the corpses in the wilderness.
As a result, after Yang Lian Zhenjia, a demon monk, heard about this, he was furious, and immediately rushed back with people, exhumed the bones of the emperors, and then built a white pagoda on the site of the Southern Song Palace, named "Zhennan Pagoda", which contained the bones of the Southern Song Emperors, in order to suppress the "king's qi" in the south, and warn those people not to try to resist again.
In order to declare his "victory", Yang Zhenjia often took the skeleton cup made of Song Lizong's head to various large banquets and drank wine for fun, but only 6 years later, the demon monk Yang Lian Zhenjia was executed by Kublai Khan, and this skeleton cup also fell into the hands of the emperor and was placed in the imperial palace from then on.
It was not until later that Zhu Yuanzhang raised an army to capture Dadu, and only found this skeleton cup in the imperial palace of Yuan Dadu, when he learned the story behind it, Zhu Yuanzhang could not calm his mood for a long time, sighed for a long time, and then sighed: "Song Nandu's princes have no great loss of morality, and they are not feuding with Yuan, Yuan has taken advantage of its weakness, and he is so arrogant and cool!" Then he ordered that Song Lizong's head be buried in Nanjing, and the following year, he buried his head at the old site of The Yongmu Mausoleum in Shaoxing, so that Song Lizong could rest in peace.
