No points are deducted within 20% of speeding
The current regulation is to deduct 3 points for driving a motor vehicle on an open road at a speed speed that exceeds 10% of the speed limit and does not exceed 20% of the speed limit.
After the implementation of the new policy on April 1, the penalty threshold was raised, and 20% of the speeding of highways and urban roads did not need to be deducted points, and more detailed deduction standards can be seen in the following table.
At present, the maximum speed limit on highways is 120km/h, and after the implementation of the new regulations, drivers will not be deducted points as long as the speed does not exceed 144km/h on high speeds.
Of course, the increased penalty threshold does not mean that the driver can speed at will, it is more to deal with some situations like high-speed overtaking.

Drivers who are eligible for deducted points can deduct points from the accumulated points, up to a maximum of 6 points in a scoring cycle.
