Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China released the latest batch of declared vehicles, and Geely Emgrand methanol hybrid models are among them.

Information shows that the vehicle is 4638 mm long, has a wheelbase of 2650 mm and a curb weight of 1420 kg. The new tires are available in 205/55 R16 and 205/50 R17 and are available in methanol/electric hybrid units.
The vehicle will be powered by a 1799 cc engine code-named JLC-4M18H with a power of 97 kW and a maximum net power of 95 kW. The type of energy storage device of this model is ternary lithium battery, without external charging.
Previous public information showed that Geely has been deeply engaged in methanol fuel vehicles for 16 years and has developed nearly 20 models. In the pilot projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, methanol vehicles accounted for nearly 90% of the total number of pilots. Up to now, Geely methanol passenger cars have been operated on a large scale of 27,000 units.
