Chen Bo, a native of Henan, was 21 years old and participated in the agrarian revolution, the War of Resistance Against Japan, the War of Liberation and other battles. However, at the beginning, Chen Bo was not arranged to go to the front line after signing up for the Red Army, but entered the Red Army clothing factory, and at first Chen Bo did not want to go. He was persuaded by the leader to go to work there, but he also had the condition that he must be notified as soon as possible after the expansion of the army.
Who knows how long he did not go, the Red First Army suffered heavy casualties and needed to replenish the source of troops. At that time, everyone forgot to inform Chen Bo, and Chen Bo insisted on going to the front line without saying a word. Later, he made many meritorious achievements in the front line and became the deputy commander of the Eighth Route Army Special Regiment. Moreover, Chen Bo also made things while fighting, and they captured a lot of machine tools when they were suppressing bandits, which made Chen Bo think that he could use this to make grenades and roll thunder.
But at that time, they lacked steel, and Chen Bo thought that he could dismantle the rails and let the Japanese cars turn into ditches. Chen Bo led people to dismantle many times, and the Japanese were almost in a hurry and did not know why the rails always disappeared. Later, after finding Out Chen Bo, he was full of hatred for him. But Chen Bo was not afraid at all, and he and his brothers had made a lot of weapons.
They made rolling thunder in 1941, but there was still a certain danger. At that time, the regimental cadres needed to tell the recruits how to use rolling thunder, and the regimental commander wanted to demonstrate it himself, but Chen Bo refused him. Chen Bo felt that the regimental commander was the backbone of their regiment, so he went to the battlefield as the deputy regimental commander to demonstrate on his own.
At that time, when Chen Bo was lecturing, the rolling thunder suddenly exploded, and Chen Bo was seriously injured and one of his arms was blown up, and even his legs could not be bent easily. Later, Chen Bo saved his life, but he still went into battle to kill the enemy, completely unaffected by his crippled body, because his will to resist the enemy was very hard!
Until after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chen Bo was named the founding major general, at that time he enjoyed the corresponding rank treatment, but Chen Bo did not need these.
