On January 5, GAC Aean LX Plus was officially launched, with a price range of 286,660-45.96 million yuan after subsidies, and a total of four models were launched. In fact, the GAC Aean LX Plus was officially unveiled at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show, so here we will briefly review it.
Exterior design
In terms of appearance, the AEAN LX Plus adopts a design concept similar to the AION V/S Plus, and the overall route is still simple and stylish. On the side, the Aeon LX Plus has a smoother silhouette and a hidden door handle design and a black petal wheel shape, so the wind resistance coefficient of the new car will be further reduced compared to the AION LX.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the Aean LX Plus are 4835/1935/1685mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm, compared with the AION LX, the body length has increased by 49mm, and other aspects remain unchanged.
In the rear part of the car, the Aehan LX Plus uses through-type taillights, which look more recognizable. In addition, the rear surround is equipped with a large black skid plate, which strengthens the properties of its crossover SUV to some extent.
Interior & Configuration
Like the exterior design, the interior of the Aeon LX Plus is also relatively simple and clear. The center console adopts a 15.6-inch central control display + large LCD instrument design, of which the 15.6-inch central control screen - previously 12.3 inches - is equipped with ADIG4.0 intelligent IoT system and equipped with Qualcomm 8155 chip, which can realize sensorless start, new AR real-world navigation, DMS+OMS cockpit monitoring and other functions.
In addition, the Aean LX Plus is also equipped with a 10-speaker sound system, Nappa leather seats, rear leg rests and other comfort features, which can provide consumers with a good driving experience.
Power & endurance
In terms of power, the Aean LX Plus has four motors of different powers, the maximum power is 150kW, 180kW, 190kW, 200kW.
In the battery section, the Aean LX Plus is equipped with a "sponge silicon anode plate battery", which is a core highlight of its technology. In simple terms, the sponge silicon anode plate battery is to add a soft silicon wafer to the negative electrode of the battery, so that the expansion and contraction of the silicon in the process of charge and discharge is limited and buffered will not be broken, and it can also store more energy like a sponge absorbing water, so its energy density can be 205Wh/kg. The Aean LX Plus offers a battery pack with a battery capacity of 144.4 kWh, so the new car can reach a range of 1008km.
How to choose the Aean LX Plus?
The Aean LX Plus has launched a total of 4 models, and the price gradient between each model is actually relatively large, so it is easier to choose.
First of all, although the top model Aian LX Plus Thousand Mile Edition is equipped with a sponge silicon anode chip battery, with a cruising range of 1008km, it can greatly alleviate the anxiety of consumers, but this model is more of a "technical display" of GAC Aean, plus the price of 459,600 yuan is not low, so the comprehensive price is not high.
Secondly, the configuration of the other three models is basically the same, and the richness of the standard configuration is relatively high, so it is not easy to choose according to the difference in configuration. In fact, the biggest difference between them is the performance and battery life, and I personally recommend the 80D flagship version with a guidance price of 329,600 yuan.
Although the endurance of the entry-level model is 650km, which is 50km more than the 80D flagship version, the 80D flagship version uses dual motors, which can break 100 in 3.9 seconds, so it is more exciting to drive. The hard strength of the 80D MAX version model in terms of endurance and performance is basically the same as that of the 80D flagship version, but the price is 80,000 yuan more expensive. So on the whole, the 80D flagship model is more cost-effective.
