After Lenin was admitted to the coffin, Soviet researchers once opened the lid of the coffin and extracted some tissues to test for Lenin's cause of death.
During World War II, due to the German invasion and military restrictions, Lenin's body was removed from Moscow. After the transfer, the body was extensively decayed, and after the surrender of Germany, Lenin's body returned to Moscow, but only the head and part of the torso remained (only nearly 10% of the total remained), and the Soviet Union later made another 90% of it from wax.
Lenin's body has been preserved for 96 years, and the annual cost of keeping it exceeds one million.
