On January 6, the first batch of major projects in Fengxian New City in 2022 were held on the shore of Jinhai Lake, "Shanghai Fish". The 9 projects started this time include industry, public services, residence, infrastructure and other aspects, with a total investment of 8.93 billion yuan; the signed projects include Guoxin Youyi, Nafei Pharmaceutical, etc., a total of 12 projects, aiming at Oriental Meigu, Digital Jianghai and other characteristic industries, involving stem cell certification, cell drugs, neuro-cerebrovascular medical devices, organoid chips, etc., with a total investment of 5.38 billion yuan.

The "On the Water Side" project will create a public space for citizens to read and relax, with the first floor of the building form seemingly undulating valley, the second floor like a piece of auspicious clouds, and the overall building appears light and transparent. The "Nanqiaoyuan" Dingfeng Sauce Garden project will transform the century-old Dingfeng Sauce Garden, which not only retains the original spatial characteristics and historical memory, but also improves the quality of the local environment and forms a cultural street with a vivid spatial pattern.
The reporter learned that this year, Fengxian New City plans to arrange 71 projects with a total investment of 57.871 billion yuan. Among them, there are 15 industrial projects with a total investment of 14.883 billion yuan; 14 transportation infrastructure projects with a total investment of 21.851 billion yuan; 4 residential projects with a total investment of 10.588 billion yuan; 27 public service projects with a total investment of 9.816 billion yuan; and 11 ecological construction projects with a total investment of 732 million yuan.
In order to seize the opportunity of digital development, this year Fengxian will build a digital international industrial urban area and a key demonstration area for digital transformation around the "Digital Jianghai" of the No. 1 project of the new city. The upcoming first land plot will plan to build a sub-center of the data center, and the second phase of the plot will plan to build a main data center covering the entire digital river and sea to provide more comprehensive data storage, calculation, analysis and decision-making capabilities.
Another area that focuses on development this year, the Wangyuan Road Ecological Business District, plans to complete the compilation of control regulations by the end of June, and start the development of some areas first, committed to forming a spatial form of "hub agglomeration and decreasing to the forest", creating an ecological corridor of natural infiltration, and creating a three-dimensional city embedded in the forest with the integrated design of underground space.
Focusing on the construction of people's cities, Fengxian New City will vigorously build public construction supporting facilities. In terms of culture, we will accelerate the construction of projects such as the "Flower of the Sea" Civic Activity Center and the Yanzi Academy. In terms of education, focusing on the goal of building the "South Shanghai Quality Education Zone", accelerating the construction of the World Foreign Chinese School, the Shangzhong International Fengxian Branch, the Jinguang Road Primary School and the Jinguang Road Junior High School were completed and put into use, and the relocation project of Zhiyuan High School began construction. In terms of medical treatment, around the goal of "building an Asian center for women and children's medicine", we will strive to introduce high-quality medical resources. The Fengxian Branch of the National Women and Children and the Fengxian Branch of Xinhua Hospital have been introduced successively and will accelerate the construction, and the Fengxian Branch of Fudan Pediatric Hospital has also fallen into Fengxian.
In addition, Fengxian is building an ecologically livable green city, relying on the ecological advantages of the 4.78 square kilometers of central forest, carrying out forest care, improving the function of woodland, accelerating the construction of Jiukeshu Forest Park, achieving full coverage of the 2.53 square kilometers of "Shanghai Fish", and the south extension of Longtan Park, Huxin Island Park and Nianfeng Park have been completed and opened during the year.
