Mini LED Backlit TVs: This year's Neo Quantum processor introduces advanced contrast mapping with BLU (Backlight Unit) that increases the brightness level from a 12-bit gradient to a 14-bit gradient for better control over the light source – the Quantum Mini LED. This allows the TV to control its lighting across 16,384 steps, four times the previous 4,096 steps.

Mini LED Backlit Display: Samsung released a 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8 gaming monitor that retains the Odyssey Neo G9's identical 1000R curve, Mini LED technology, 240Hz refresh rate, and 2000 nits peak brightness. Samsung claims that this is the first 4K display to support 240Hz and 1ms pixel response time.

LG

Micro LED TVs: At the CES 2022 press conference, LG announced that it will produce the first large-size Micro LED TVs, and said that the TVs will be officially released later this year.
