Hou Junji, on the other hand, could not sit still, and now that he was staying at home, social activities were more frequent, and he went in and out of the palaces of various ministers and magnates from time to time.
For Hou Junji's activities, Li Jing had long been suspicious, and from time to time he sent people to secretly stalk them. Once, he saw Hou Junji passing by the door of his mansion but did not enter, but instead rode away on horseback. Li Jing was puzzled, and turned to show great concern: "Such an abnormal behavior, when he arrives at the door of the house and completely forgets to go home, I am afraid that things are not good, if I guess correctly, he will raise an army to rebel against the imperial court in the next few days!" ”
Naturally no one believed Li Jing's statement, on the contrary, many people thought that he held a grudge against Hou Junji, which was slandering him. However, soon after, Sure enough, Hou Junji joined forces with Li Chengqian and others to rebel against the imperial court, confirming Li Jing's prediction at that time. Fortunately, the traitors were quickly eliminated and did not cause great turmoil, and eventually Hou Junji was sentenced to death, and all his family members were sent to Lingnan.
