Empress Xiaojingcheng of the Borjigit clan was the daughter of the executioner Wailang Hualiang'a, a Mongolian woman born on May 11, 1812, in the seventeenth year of Jiaqing (1812), thirty years younger than Daoguang. In the fifth year of Daoguang (1825), the fourteen-year-old Borjigit entered the imperial palace through a draft girl and was named a Jing nobleman. At that time, Daoguang was already forty-four years old, but there was only one prince, and the eager Daoguang Emperor hoped that the Borjigit clan would add a prince to him.
Borzigit did not look old, but the fertility was very strong, from the sixth year of Daoguang to the twelfth year of Daoguang, in just six years, gave birth to three sons and a daughter for the Daoguang Emperor. They were the second son of the Emperor Yi gang, the third son of the Emperor Yi Ji, the sixth son of the Emperor Yi Bi, and the sixth daughter of the Emperor, Princess Shou Engulun.
