Chen Gongbo grew up in a life of clothes to stretch out his hands and food to open his mouth, what is needed, as long as Chen Zhimei can satisfy, he will do everything he can to satisfy him, living in this doting family, but also let Chen Gongbo become a pampered person.
After Chen Gongbo became an adult, he recalled: When I was a child, I watched "PinHua Baojian", and when my father found out, he took advantage of the reason to walk away, and when he asked me how I looked in the study the next day, I was interested, and I would ask me a few questions. From Chen Gongbo's memories, it is not difficult to see how Chen Zhimei doted on Chen Gongbo.
After becoming an adult, Chen Gongbo went to Nanyang to study with Dalang, during which he became acquainted with Sun Yat-sen and others, and participated in the Xingzhong Association, during the Great Revolution, Chen Gongbo was a patriotic man who made a lot of efforts to overthrow the feudal dynasty, but after the failure of the Great Revolution, he suddenly became the second person around Wang Jingwei.
1926 was a glorious year in Chiang Kai-shek's life, this year Chiang Kai-shek began the Northern Expedition, at this time Chen Gongbo abandoned Wang Jingwei and became Chiang Kai-shek's guest of honor, and later generations have commented that this is very inseparable from Chen Gongbo's reading of the Little Yellow Book since he was a child, and this person did not move at all to be called shame!
In 1931, the Japanese Kou launched the "918 Incident" and all political factions in the country united to unite with the outside world, at this time Chiang Kai-shek, Wang Jingwei and others began to cooperate briefly, Chen Gongbo was then the head of the Kuomintang Central Training Department, under the jurisdiction of both sides, Wang Jingwei wanted to avenge the betrayal, and Chiang Kai-shek did not help him.
Chen Gongbo, as the grass on the wall, lived a relatively hard time in those days, so he wrote in his diary: "The wine glass is poured out and I am sad."
In February 1936, Wang Jingwei failed in the fight, resigned as chief executive, and went abroad for recuperation, at this time Chen Gongbo was not very comfortable, because Chiang Kai-shek was a suspicious person, facing Wang Jingwei's former old department, Chiang Kai-shek really could not recall the idea of reusing Chen Gongbo, so Chen Gongbo was hidden in the snow.
This time Chen Gongbo understood that Chiang Kai-shek regarded him as a pawn in the political struggle with Wang Jingwei, and resigned from all his posts in a fit of rage; at the end of the same year, the Xi'an Incident broke out, and Chen Gongbo, who remained in Nanjing, advocated the armed rescue of the Military Command Bureau and the CC Department, and on the other hand, he tried to return to China as soon as possible to control the situation.
What Chen Gongbo did not expect was that Song Meiling stood up at this time, a woman, and finally saved Chiang Kai-shek's political future, and after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan in 1937, Wang Jingwei and others believed that with China's national strength, they were unable to fight against the Japanese Kou, such as the fall of the Chongqing Provisional Government, we would completely destroy the country.
Based on this, Wang, Mei, Chen and others signed a series of secret agreements with Japanese representatives in Shanghai, and Wang Jingwei completely fell to the Japanese side, and in Wang Jingwei's words, this is not a traitor, but a salvation of the country, a curve to save the country.
Regarding the initial wavering of Mei Siping, Chen Gongbo, and others in cooperating with the Japanese, Mei Siping once said: If this time it succeeds, it is a national hero, and if it fails, the wisdom of more than 30 years will be destroyed. In the end, Mei, Chen and others were blinded by the immediate interests, and the short-term interests in front of them overcame everything and completely fell to the Japanese.
In March 1940, Chen Gongbo arrived in Nanjing, officially served as a member of the Pseudo-Central Political Committee, the president of the Pseudo-Legislative Yuan, and the director of the Political Training Department, making great contributions to the Japanese, after Wang Jingwei died of illness, Chen Gongbo replaced Wang Jingwei, holding 4 million puppet army troops, in order to gain the complete trust of the Japanese, ordered the puppet army to block the Chinese army throughout the country.
After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Chen Gongbo was arrested by the Kuomintang and executed for treason, and interestingly, in court, Chen Gongbo said: "I want to save the country that is divided into pieces, and I want to save the people who are in deep trouble!" With us we can build a new Republic of China, and China and Japan can have lasting peace. ”
On June 3, 1946, Chen Gongbo was shot and buried in the Shanghai Cemetery by the Nationalist government after his death, and soon after, Chen Gongbo's cemetery was blown up by angry people, and his daughter did not dare to speak up after hearing about it, and fled to the United States overnight.
So far, Chen Gongbo's descendants have been living overseas, and they have never dared to return to China to visit their relatives, and it is interesting that Chen Gongbo's grandson, who has the blood of Yanhuang's descendants flowing in his body, will not even say Chinese.
