On January 4, the first 30 pure electric buses from Changde, China, the C11, drove into the South Korean city of Seoul, becoming a green scenery on the streets. The first batch of 50 pure electric bus C11 tailored for South Korea will serve the city of Seoul, South Korea, and contribute to the "CRRC Wisdom" to accelerate the construction of a green transportation body in South Korea and achieve the zero emission goal in the field of public transportation.

Two years ago, in order to gain an in-depth understanding of customer needs, CRRC Electric conducted field research and demand analysis in South Korea, carried out sample car customization and product tour exhibition according to local regulations and standards, and after winning the first batch of 10 batch orders at the end of 2020, last year again won 50 batch orders for pure electric buses in the Korean market.

In recent years, in order to improve the environment and save energy, the South Korean government has successively introduced new energy vehicle policies to encourage the promotion and application of new energy vehicles, especially in the field of public transportation. However, in the field of buses, the access standards are very stringent.

Different from the previous overseas market projects, this Korean project from the order signing to the delivery and shipping cycle, less than 60 days, time is tight, the task is heavy, which puts forward extremely high requirements for production, delivery and after-sales. To this end, CRRC Electric set up a special team, taking quality and progress as an important starting point, and all departments worked together to overcome various bottlenecks such as design, manufacturing resources and procurement cycle, and made detailed deployment of spare parts, support mode, personnel arrangements, etc., and finally ensured that the first batch of 30 vehicles were delivered on time with high quality.

The model delivered to the South Korean side is CRRC Electric 11 meters pure electric bus C11, which is called "CRRC Oba" because it is "tailor-made" for Korean customers. "CRRC Oba" adopts the industry's first intelligent parking system and the virtual bumper of the first batch application to add weight to driving safety; equipped with the overseas version of Yunzhitong, it can realize remote switching on and off of lights, remote starting vehicles, remote diagnosis vehicles, remote after-sales service, greatly improving the driver's driving convenience and vehicle after-sales service efficiency.

According to the needs of Korean customers, CRRC Electric Engineers tailor every humanized detail in the car. For example, the passenger seats of the whole car face the front of the car; each seat is equipped with a separate USB charging port, a button on the exit door; a double wheelchair area is set up in the car, etc., and many humanized arrangements are provided to upgrade the riding comfort.

For the first time, C11 applied the design of front file segmentation and skin sharding, which greatly improved the efficiency and convenience of after-sales maintenance. Based on its excellent comprehensive performance, C11 has reached the first echelon of the Korean market in terms of comprehensive parameters such as energy consumption and mileage, passed the authoritative certification of the Ministry of Land and Resources of the Republic of Korea, and received full subsidies.
