A few days ago, Mercedes-Benz (hereinafter referred to as Mercedes-Benz) released a pure electric concept model called VISION EQXX. It is understood that this concept car is based on mercedes-Benz's next-generation electric drive platform, thanks to the ultra-low wind resistance coefficient of 0.17, the energy consumption of 100 kilometers of the model can be reduced to 10KWh, and the endurance of a single charge can exceed 1000 kilometers. It is reported that vision EQXX will be officially small-scale mass production as soon as 2024, and the technology it contains will be used in the current new Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle series.

It is worth noting that the energy density of the battery equipped with the Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX model is close to 400Wh/Kg, which is twice that of the current ternary lithium battery, and the battery volume is half that of the Mercedes-Benz EQS model. In addition, thanks to the help of the AMG High Performance Powertrains division, the drivetrain efficiency of EQXX models can reach 95%, while the transmission efficiency of mainstream civilian electric vehicles is about 75%, and the efficiency of internal combustion engines is about 30%.
