BYD's annual sales exceeded 700,000 new energy passenger cars sold nearly 600,000 units

Recently, BYD Auto announced its sales results for the full year of 2021. In 2021, BYD sold 730,000 passenger cars, an increase of 75.4% year-on-year. In December, the entire series sold 97,990 units, an increase of 77.9% year-on-year. Among them, BYD's annual sales of new energy passenger cars reached 593,700 units, an increase of 231.6% year-on-year; in December, sales of 92,823 units, an increase of 236.4%. The EV sold 320,800 units for the full year, and DM sold 272,900 units for the whole year.

Among the many models, the most eye-catching sales performance is the BYD Song series. BYD Song series sold a total of 200,800 vehicles in the whole year, 22,386 vehicles in December, Song EV increased by 288.1% year-on-year, Song DM increased by 1650%; BYD Han series sold 117,600 units in the whole year, 13,701 units in December, Han DM increased by 20.6% month-on-month; BYD Tang series sold 54,204 units in the whole year, 9,000 units in December, and the new generation Tang DM increased by 150.9% year-on-year. Bydy Qin series sold 194,200 vehicles in the whole year, 25,943 units in December; BYD Yuan series sold 41,402 vehicles in the whole year, 8,577 units in December, an increase of 707.6% year-on-year; BYD e series sold 38,350 vehicles in the whole year, 4,160 units in December, e2 increased by 52.4% year-on-year; Dolphin sold 29,598 units in August and December, and sold 10,016 vehicles in December, an increase of 13.7% month-on-month.
