Tesla's global market will deliver a total of 936,000 units in 2021

On January 2, Tesla officially released the production and delivery data for the 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2021, of which Tesla delivered 936,172 units worldwide in 2021, an increase of about 87.4% year-on-year. In the fourth quarter of 2021 alone, Tesla completed the production of 305,840 vehicles and delivered 308,600 vehicles. Again set a record delivery.

Specifically, Tesla produced a total of 24,390 Model S and Model X in 2021, and delivered 24,964 units in the whole year, while the lower-positioned Model 3 and Model Y produced a total of 906,032 units for the whole year, with a total delivery of 911,208 units. Among them, the Shanghai Gigafactory, as Tesla's new export center, will be fully produced in 2021, and the quarterly production of the Model 3 and Model Y produced by the factory in the third quarter exceeded that of the Fremont factory for the first time, which improved Tesla's global delivery speed.

As of now, Tesla has not released the production and delivery data of China for the whole year of 2021 for reference. In the Chinese market, Tesla has exceeded 50,000 wholesale vehicles for many consecutive months, and as of November 30, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory has exceeded 400,000 vehicles in 2021, reaching 413283 vehicles, and the Chinese market has become Tesla's largest single market in the world.
