Majestic and exuberant, he crossed the Yalu River
To safeguard peace and defend the motherland is to protect the homeland
Good sons and daughters of China, united in unity and solidarity, resisted US aggression and aided Korea
……
Defeat the U.S. imperialist ambition wolf, male and powerful
Cross the Yalu River, safeguard peace, and defend the motherland
It is to protect the hometown, the good sons and daughters of China, and to unite together
A popular "Battle Song of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army" tells the story of the thousands of good Chinese sons and daughters of that era, who, for the sake of the stability of the motherland and not being provoked by imperialism, put on their military uniforms and stepped on warhorses, crossed the Yalu River without hesitation, came to that strange land, and spilled their hot blood for the country and the people.

Heroes should be remembered, and the Chinese of the new era have not forgotten them, because without the sacrifice of these heroes, there would be no stable life today.
We always commemorate the great war 70 years ago, painting the appearance of those heroes on paper, chiseling them on stone tablets, and remembering them in our hearts, the most representative of which is the Memorial Hall of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, and the Cemetery of the Martyrs of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Shenyang.
In the United States, there is also a building commemorating the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, which is located in the National Mall in Washington, D.C., at the Memorial Park for Resisting US Aggression and Aiding Korea.
There are a total of 19 statues of soldiers in the park, representing different ethnic groups in the Un army that invaded the Korean Peninsula at that time, in addition to the 16 countries directly involved in the war, there are 3 countries that play the role of medical teams. The 19 soldier statues have different shapes, as if they are shouting, as if they are wandering, and there is no trace of the masculinity that a soldier should have.
Compared with the World War I, World War II, and Vietnam War Memorial Park around it, the Memorial Park for Resisting US Aggression and Aiding Korea is much deserted, and it is inaccessible on weekdays, and occasionally a few figures are hurriedly walking by, and they have not stopped for too long.
Why is this memorial park so unpopular? I think it may be because the United States lost this battle too thoroughly, and such a well-equipped, logistically well-equipped, well-trained team was defeated, and it is really reluctant for them to mention it.
Just a few years ago, the New York Times published a series of data on the war, including the loss of troops, according to the official data of the time, from 1950 to 1953, the number of casualties, disappearances, and captured by the United Nations army on the Korean battlefield reached as many as 2.5 million.
Some people may laugh at this number, thinking that the maximum strength of the coalition army at that time was only 1.2 million, where did the figure of 2.5 million come up?
But as it happened, the coalition invasion of the Korean Peninsula was in batches, and the figure of 1.2 million was just one of them.
The stone monument in the memorial park is carved with the number of deaths, 54,246 American casualties and 628833 allied casualties. In addition, 470267 uncom troops were missing, 92,970 were captured and 1064453 wounded, and 8,000 U.S. troops were missing, 7,140 were captured, and 103248 wounded, for a total of about 2.5 million.
Chinese People's Volunteer Army created a miracle in the Battle to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea; a newly established country, which had not yet shaken off the backward situation, actually relied on its own strength to resist the joint efforts of more than a dozen enemy countries, and finally reversed the situation, turned defense into attack, and destroyed the army that included the advanced military forces of the world at that time.
By virtue of this battle, our country has made its own well-known name.
