Bi Hao was born in 1927 in Buyeo, Jilin Province. Bi Hao's childhood, Japan launched the 918 Incident and occupied the northeast, Bi Hao lived in such an environment since he was a child, which made him eager to join the army and take up arms to drive out the Japanese invaders. It was only because of his age that Bi Hao was unable to join the army until 1945, after the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Bi Hao joined the Northeast People's Autonomous Army.
Northeast People's Autonomous Army is the predecessor of the Northeast Democratic United Army, after joining the army, Bi Hao followed the Northeast Democratic United Army across the northeast region, in 1948, the Northeast Democratic United Army was reorganized into the Northeast Field Army, Bi Hao continued to serve in the Northeast Field Army, participated in large-scale battles such as the Liaoshen Campaign, and made outstanding contributions to the liberation of Northeast China. After the Northeast Field Army was reorganized into the Fourth Field Army, Bi Hao followed Siye into the pass and witnessed the birth of New China.

During his stay in Korea, Bi Hao served as the political commissar of the Volunteer Air Force Flying Brigade and the political commissar of the Pyongyang Central Station of the Volunteer Air Force, and was one of the heroes who defended his family and the country.
After returning from Korea, Bi Hao successively served as deputy section chief, division chief, and deputy director of the Organization Department of the Air Force, and in 1979, he was promoted to political commissar of the Fourth Air Force, and in 1980, Bi Hao was transferred to the Political Department of the Air Force, and successively served as deputy director and director. In 1987, Bi Hao was transferred to the Chengdu Military Region Air Force, where he succeeded Feng Yingshan as the second political commissar of the Chengdu Military Region Air Force.
At this time, the commander of the Chengdu Military Region Air Force happened to be Hou Shujun, and the two of them worked closely together to jointly command the newly established Chengdu Military Region Air Force, and did a lot of basic work for the development and growth of the Chengdu Military Region Air Force. In 1988, the People's Liberation Army implemented a new military rank, and Bi Hao, then 61 years old, was awarded the rank of major general and became a major general in the Air Force. Two years later, at the age of 63, Bi Hao was promoted to lieutenant general in the Air Force.
In 1991, Zhang Taiheng, commander of the Chengdu Military Region, deputy commander Zhang Defu, and Hou Shujun, commander of the Air Force of the Chengdu Military Region, went to the Sino-Nepalese border to investigate the defense problems of the troops. After the accident, Hou Shujun was dismissed, but as Hou Shujun's partner, Bi Hao continued to be reused and still held the position of political commissar of the Air Force of the Chengdu Military Region.
In 1993, Bi Hao stepped down as the political commissar of the Air Force of the Chengdu Military Region, at this time he was 66 years old, which had exceeded the service life of a lieutenant general, so Bi Hao chose to retire. After retiring from the military, Bi Hao enjoyed the treatment of a deputy military region-level leader, and in his later years he mainly lived in Beijing, where he died of illness in 2014 at the age of 87.
