It is relatively difficult to carry out disarmament work, it is easy to make efforts to be undesirable, and many people are unwilling to do it; at this time, a veteran general stood up, took the initiative to undertake the aftermath work, and took the initiative to retreat to the second line.

Many people may not know General Xie Zhenhua, a native of Chongyi County, Jiangxi Province, who joined the Red Army guerrillas in 1930 at the age of 14, and by 1934 he had become the youngest regimental political commissar in the main force of the Red Army, when he was not yet 18 years old.

On February 26, 1935, Mr. Peng ordered to capture Loushan Pass before Wang Jialie's troops, otherwise he would be attacked by the enemy on both sides, and Xie Zhenhua led his troops to march in a hurry to occupy Loushan Pass a few minutes before the enemy.

After the occupation of Loushan Pass, the enemy carried out a crazy counterattack, Xie Zhenhua led the troops to prevent the enemy from counterattacking, during the battle he also saved the political commissar of the 12th Regiment Zhong Chibing, who later became the founding lieutenant general, LoushanGuan Xie Zhenhua defeated the Qian army, made a miracle, and was praised by Mr. Peng.

At that time, Xie Zhenhua was 69 years old, not too old, but he took the initiative to take the lead in retiring to the second line for the smooth progress of disarmament in the Kunming Military Region, and if he did not retreat to the second line, after the military rank system was restored, he was likely to be awarded the rank of general, in other words, he voluntarily gave up the opportunity to be promoted to general.

Since then, Xie Zhenhua has taken the initiative to be busy with the aftermath of disarmament, on the one hand comforting those soldiers who have been dismissed, and on the other hand, providing advice and suggestions for the disarmed troops.
