In the process of constantly sending letters to the troops, he also grew up slowly and participated in the Liberation War with the main forces of Huaye. After the tempering of war and life and death, Zhang Taiheng truly became an outstanding warrior, and was awarded the rank of lieutenant in 1955, when he was only 24 years old and had an unlimited future.
After that, Zhang Taiheng trained and worked hard in the army, and slowly promoted from deputy regimental commander to military commander. In 1985, the former Chengdu Military Region merged with the former Kunming Military Region to form the new Chengdu Military Region, and Zhang Taiheng became the deputy commander of the military region. In July of the same year, as a front-line commander, he led part of the corps to participate in the Battle of Laoshan. Three years later, with the transfer of the commander of the Chengdu Military Region, he officially took over the position of commander.
At this time, the political commissar of the Chengdu Military Region was Gu Shanqing, and his revolutionary career was also very exciting, and the year he was born coincided with the September 18 Incident, because he had witnessed the Japanese wantonly killing, looting, and oppressing the people in the northeast since he was a child, which made him establish the concept of joining the army to serve the country and saving the people from water and fire from an early age. In 1947, Gu Shanqing joined the Northeast Democratic United Army, and soon after, the Northeast Field Army was established, because Gu Shanqing was a native of the northeast, familiar with the local terrain, and he was clever and clever, so he became a correspondent of the company.
Since then, he has participated in a series of famous battles such as the Liaoshen Campaign, and has performed well in many battles, and has witnessed the birth of New China step by step, and in 1955 he was awarded the rank of captain. In order to train him, the organization specially arranged for him to return to the school for further study, because he performed well during his school period, stayed in the school to teach for several years, and then successively served in the major military regions, successively served as the political commissar of the Hunan Military Region, the deputy political commissar of the Guangzhou Military Region, and even won the rank of major general. Soon after, he was also transferred to the Chengdu Military Region, became Zhang Taiheng's partner, and became the political commissar of the military region.
However, shortly after the two took over, an accident changed the fate of the two. After the great merger of the Chengdu Military Region in 1985, many provincial-level military regions were included in the jurisdiction of the Chengdu Military Region, and the Tibet Military Region was one of them. Because Tibet has a long border and borders with many countries, and because of the special nature of the Tibet border, Zhang Taiheng has led teams to inspect many times. In 1991, after the inspection work, Zhang Taiheng's plane took off smoothly, but shortly after the second plane took off, it crashed and crashed, killing all 13 people, including a deputy commander.
Although the plane crash did not have much to do with Zhang Taiheng himself, as a commander, he still took the initiative to take responsibility, and after careful consideration, the state decided to transfer him to the Nanjing Military Region. Although the plane crash was painful, Zhang Taiheng's outstanding ability, coupled with his experienced and determined veteran, was soon reused again and transferred to Jinan as the commander of the military region. In the Jinan Military Region, he worked hard to manage the entire military region in an orderly manner, and in view of his talent and merits, he received the rank of general in 1994, and Zhang Taiheng died of illness in 2005 at the age of 74.
Also affected by the plane accident was Gu Shanqing, who was not able to continue his post in the Chengdu Military Region, but was transferred to Beijing to continue to serve as the political commissar of the military region, and in 1994 he was also awarded the rank of general. Shortly after receiving the rank, he officially retired. After retiring from the army, while continuing to care about national affairs, he was also intoxicated with the creation of calligraphy works, and many calligraphy works such as "Heavenly Reward for Diligence" and "Helping Each Other in the Same Boat" created by him were collected, and he himself was also the chief calligrapher of the Chinese Book Court. Now 90 years old, Gu Shanqing personally awarded certificates to the Chinese academicians and research institutes of the World Academy of Conducting Sciences in July last year.
