IT House learned that the AMD CES 2022 launch conference will start at 23:00 Beijing time on January 4. According to the breaking news, AMD will release new desktop processors, desktop graphics, mobile processors and mobile graphics cards at this CES.

In this conference, mobile processors are expected to be the highlight. The amD 6000 Series mobile CPU will be upgraded to Zen3+ architecture, built on a 6nm process, still 8 cores and 16 threads, supporting DDR5-4800 memory. The family's integrated GPUs will undergo a major upgrade to the RDNA2 architecture, and the highest model with the highest core display will be named radeon 680M.

The AMD R9 6980HX is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 5GHz; the slightly lower R9 6900HX is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 4.9GHz; and the R7 6800H is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 4.7GHz. The 6-core R5 model is not mentioned and may have been cut.
