130 pieces (sets) of fine tea utensils from past dynasties were exhibited at the Overseas Chinese Museum

"Ancient Rhyme Tea Aroma - Zhenjiang Museum Collection of Tea Sets" opened on the second and third floors of the temporary exhibition hall on the left wing of the Overseas Chinese Museum on the 1st, and will last until March 10.

The exhibition is composed of four parts: "Ancient Melody", "ShengshihuaZhang", "Literati Feelings" and "Overflowing Color Streamer", with the tea sets unearthed in Zhenjiang as the main line and the tea drinking methods of different historical periods as the auxiliary line, showing the tea culture that has been prosperous in the history of Zhenjiang.

This exhibition selects 130 representative tea utensils (sets) from the collection of Zhenjiang Museum, including 2 first-class cultural relics, 16 second-class cultural relics and 68 third-class cultural relics. The number of exhibits in the exhibition is relatively large and rich, and the cultural relics involve pottery, porcelain, jade, gold and silverware, lacquerware, etc. These artifacts have undergone a long period of polishing and the accumulation of history and humanities, reflecting the beauty of ancient Chinese art and showing the brilliant Chinese tea culture.
