On the last day of 2021, Niu Tuoyi of Gansu Province, who graduated from the Calligraphy College of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, sent me a batch of small character calligraphy works he recently created. During the class at Hebei Academy, I gradually got to know Niu Tuoyi several times in the reading activities among the students. What impressed him more deeply was that after every time he explained the analysis and pointed out that there were some aspects of it that needed to be adjusted when reading the manuscript, you would see obvious changes in him the next three days. Instead of saying that I am, my heart yearns for it but my heart is difficult to meet. This is more or less true of the Kawai calligraphy majors that I am familiar with.
Niu Tuoyi's big grass is characterized by the Ming and Qing dynasties as the basis, supplemented by the Daguan Thesis Jinren Fa Ti, with the changeable knots and calm and flexible pens, and the chapter method of ren jumping and moving shows the arbitrariness and arbitrariness of the great opening and closing. Its characteristics can be seen in several national calligraphy exhibitions.
This skit, although the size is small, I feel more elegant and arbitrary. The rhythm of the pen and ink is adjusted with the rhythm and movement between the words and lines to be rigid and soft, and the speed is moderate, and in the pen and ink, a strange mood of "smooth and lucky to see Shu Lang, Yan Jin xiang shu shu temperament" is read, but it is also controlled in the whole of harmony and elegance.
